  1. So painful watching Gallagher on a football pitch. He must have run over about 42 black cats. It's like the ball avoids him. If he's front post, ball end up at the back. And visa versa. If he comes short for ball to feet, someone's lobbing a through ball over the top. He makes a run in the channels, it goes short. These are bad traits to have for a top level, skillful player. Coupled with his mediocre footballing takent, it's an absolute disaster. We need better up there to have any chance of turning losses into draws, and draws into wins. And it's been a problem since forever. Infuriating.
  2. I really like how angry with themselves the players are when a pass is slightly misplaced. Feels not long ago a misplaced pass was the norm, and was followed be a dip of the head and shrugged shoulders. Sense the team all set themselves much higher standards and expectations these days.
  3. Think THE mod (and other posters) are doing exactly that. Sometimes fronting things up, rather than hiding them, is the preferable option. Gives the poster a chance to see the error of ways and repent.....or double down. Guess we'll find out soon.
  4. Phew. Thank God for that you diving s-houses. Like Sheff Utd in blue shirts at times.
  5. Is thus going to be same International guidance as WC? If so, we could be looking at 8/9 mins injury time. Do well to hold out.
  6. I think it was maybe mistaken identity. Maguire had been warned to speed it up a little earlier.
  7. Can I mark you down as early contender for understatement of the year! 😂 Disappointment is when a bird craps on your head. Your lot are acting like someone's kidnapped their first born.
  8. No. A nobody. Only had a handful of posts. Just come on to troll. Tbh I wasn't that fussed either way with the allocation decision. But now I've seen how angry it's made them, it's really grown on me. My favourite part so far is them thinking a couple hundred grand tickets sales will somehow have a massive impact on the 200+ million hole we live in. Like the bloke that's just lost 10's of thousands at the casino gives a shit whether you buy him a Stella Artois or not. The millions we've lost on Rothwell, Lenihan, and Diaz and their sofa change is gonna be the difference like they're handing out magic beans or something.
  9. No deal. Instead I want you to become a human Gally statue on a plinth.
  10. Let's go for a double miracle- Rovers to win and you not to call Gally a useless twat the whole 2nd half. 🤞
  11. There's literal silhouettes in the rulebook/guidebook to show arm position and what is and isn't a penalty. Ally could do with giving it a read.
  12. We'd be counting one less person on the pitch.
  13. Behave yourself.
  14. Probably best you don't know TS. Wish I didn't.
  15. FYI All non-football related Burnley chat has been moved to the News Thread in WDWY.
  16. Tbf I had a bit of a moment tonight. When he chipped that awful ball into the keeper's hands. Just looked a mile off. But then I'm thinking 25% off that pass and it could be a pearler.🤔 And I moan about the constant sideways and backwards cycle- "Just give it crack going forwards, even if only 50% come off, it's better than this crap!" So I can see what you're saying. Just frustrating as fans watching him go through the process in such an important season. Through the development he's making the mistakes with us. And we're all tense as hell!
  17. Fair points, I think it was more that it felt like most of their team was busting us for pace. Normally you play a team and you know 2 or 3 will be burning you up. But it was happening all over the pitch, and with such frequency. I'm going to stay optimistic and chalk it up to a bad night. It's odd though. Szmodics was fairly ripping Leicester to shreds, but looked so sluggish tonight.
  18. Are your lot always so pacey? Several times all over the pitch we had metres of head starts, and your players just galloped past them regardless. I.e. Is that a strength you've noticed all season, or did our players have lead in their boots?
  19. If we score in the first 15 mins I'd stop watching then. Think we've had a player booked for time wasting in the 1st half this season. 😂 If not that, it was very early in the 2nd.
  20. Don't mind him as a pundit tbh. Speaks his mind and not afraid to take the flack for it. Wish more had the balls to do that. But he's lost the plot here. We all know he can be a little blinkered when it comes to Man Utd, (i.e. his support for Solskjaer when it was blatantly obvious he needed to go), but to chicken out and not face the music tonight is a real low. He's gone down massively in my estimation.
  21. Looks like Gary has backed out of MNF tonight. Very poor if true. If your job is dishing out the criticism on a regular basis, you can't run and hide when it's time to take your medicine. Genuinely think he'll struggle to live this down. Particularly after the roasting he got from Souness yesterday.
  22. Hmmm, do you have a theory that some fans become insufferabley cocky when their team wins a lot of matches? Interesting. If only we could think of a recent case study to prove this hypothesis correct. 🤔 Nope, nothing's springing to mind.
  23. Absolute shithouses the lot of them. Hope they fall out the top 2 and don't go up. Well done our lads for dealing with it excellently, in all areas of the pitch. Absolute peak of season this, we've hit form at the right time, and I have hope for both competitions we're in.
