He's not getting booed tonight, he's getting brutally mocked though. By a large contingent.

Venky’s v Indian Government (a)
Silas replied to tomphil's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Feels like a head honcho from my investigations. https://mycorporateinfo.com/director/mandava-sreenivasa-rao-1746955 Director of 1987 formed company Srivenk Investments and Finance Private Limited which has 3 directors: ANURADHA JITENDRA DESAI, JITENDRA MORESHWAR DESAI, MANDAVA SREENIVASA RAO Guessing you don't end up in that select group unless you're someone pretty important. He wasn't appointed till 2016, but you don't generally put someone on a 30 Yr old company lightly. -
Not that it matters massively but that is absolutely not a brick thrown at the bus: My guess is a metal water bottle as you can hear it ting and bounce. I realise it's a me issue, but does wind me up how the whole World is reporting 'brick thrown at bus' when literally 2 mins investigation would show that's not the case. Also, could the police not try and recover the object as it could have fingerprints and DNA on that a brick wouldn't.

v Harrogate (a) - 31/8/23 - Carabao Cup

One more needed for triple G. Patrick Gamble, the pressure's all on you! -
Bundled is a strong stance. He put a hand lightly on him. I'll take it!
-
The card for them on Hedges wasn't even a foul imo.
-
We're going to ground....a lot! Yes, they're physical but we need to be much stronger.

Maybe I'm a bit precious but I thought the crotch grab was just as bad. It's one thing the Argie GK messing on with his golden glove trophy. He's a crazy footballer. But if you're a head official for a Country, in the VIP box, with all the cameras on you, wtf would you be grabbing your dick and balls and thrusting. Just odd and creepy.

I'm not technical Den, but I'm guessing they may ask what phone is it, and what Internet engine you on - I.e. Google chrome or explorer etc.
-
Yep, surprised VAR didn't order a retake.
-
Bronze having a bit of a mare.
-
That wasn't so much a hole more a giant crater left at RB. Take some coming back from this with their dominance on the ball.
-
Well, Rovers had a man sent off and got beaten. England Rugby had a man sent off and were absolutely pummelled. I'm pretty worried about a hattrick of misery here. Fingers crossed the women buck the trend.
-
Did it maybe take a slight nick off defender too? Keeper will be rightly disappointed either way.
-
Yep, had a quick read- 'Where's a striker?" Like groundhog day. Deja vu, whatever. I actually feel for him, always seems such an exasperated bloke. Must be exhausting. But how many times- Celtic, us, Coventry, now Sunderland. All the same patterns. Comes a time you have to own as the man at the wheel.

Two games in and rumblings. Is it me or does drama seem to follow Mowbray.
-
Yep. Tbf our pens were a bit divey. But regardless we battered them for 90 mins, and it felt an injustice to lose to such a dodgy decision. I'm still raging.

Yep, don't forget the scandalous penalty against Chris Samba in August 2011 for Everton to win 1-0. That was due to a directive that refs were going to be much stricter on defenders 'riding' backs on clearance headers. Samba deemed to have done that to Fellaini - he didn't! But I was fine with it because I thought we'd get loads of penalties when opposing teams did it to Samba on our corners. Did we get a single one all season while defenders literally piggy backed on him? - did we bollocks! These edicts are only fair if done consistently throughout the season. Not in a little spurt at the start.

Just need to address the pathetic 'shepherding' the ball out of play and I'll be happy. Don't get it. You block off someone in midfield when not in possession of the ball and it's obstruction. But do it in the defending 3rd and somehow it's a legitimate tactic. Winds me up no end.

It's back! Already been a few booked this 1st weekend. And tbh, one of them only tapped it about 5 yards. Looks like they're going to be really clamping down. Retro.

Here we go! 🤞🤞 England in a penalty shootout. What could possibly go wrong.
-
We get to penalties here and, in theory, our players should be more confident having played on the bigger stages more often (I.e.80k at Wembley and the Women's Premier League). We should have the cooler, calmer heads.....in theory. Would be a get out of jail card played mind.
-
I was being a bit tongue in cheek, but I do think we've been culprits in recent times (had to be, if you can't beat em, join em). There's been quite a few games we had at least 3 players hit the deck for treatment from 86 mins onwards. Didn't we also have a player or two booked in the first half for time-wasting? Takes some doing that. Would we have lost some more points if we hadn't employed those tactics? I'm on board with the changes. Needs done for the benefit of football as an entertainment spectator sport. Just not sure I agree with the theory it will work to our benefit and help us.

Petulant again on the biggest stage from England. Knew what she was doing. Stupid.

Well he mentions Phillips:
