Tbf I had a bit of a moment tonight. When he chipped that awful ball into the keeper's hands. Just looked a mile off. But then I'm thinking 25% off that pass and it could be a pearler.π€ And I moan about the constant sideways and backwards cycle- "Just give it crack going forwards, even if only 50% come off, it's better than this crap!" So I can see what you're saying. Just frustrating as fans watching him go through the process in such an important season. Through the development he's making the mistakes with us. And we're all tense as hell! -

Fair points, I think it was more that it felt like most of their team was busting us for pace. Normally you play a team and you know 2 or 3 will be burning you up. But it was happening all over the pitch, and with such frequency. I'm going to stay optimistic and chalk it up to a bad night. It's odd though. Szmodics was fairly ripping Leicester to shreds, but looked so sluggish tonight. -

Are your lot always so pacey? Several times all over the pitch we had metres of head starts, and your players just galloped past them regardless. I.e. Is that a strength you've noticed all season, or did our players have lead in their boots? -

If we score in the first 15 mins I'd stop watching then. Think we've had a player booked for time wasting in the 1st half this season. π If not that, it was very early in the 2nd. -
Don't mind him as a pundit tbh. Speaks his mind and not afraid to take the flack for it. Wish more had the balls to do that. But he's lost the plot here. We all know he can be a little blinkered when it comes to Man Utd, (i.e. his support for Solskjaer when it was blatantly obvious he needed to go), but to chicken out and not face the music tonight is a real low. He's gone down massively in my estimation.

Looks like Gary has backed out of MNF tonight. Very poor if true. If your job is dishing out the criticism on a regular basis, you can't run and hide when it's time to take your medicine. Genuinely think he'll struggle to live this down. Particularly after the roasting he got from Souness yesterday.

Hmmm, do you have a theory that some fans become insufferabley cocky when their team wins a lot of matches? Interesting. If only we could think of a recent case study to prove this hypothesis correct. π€ Nope, nothing's springing to mind.

Absolute shithouses the lot of them. Hope they fall out the top 2 and don't go up. Well done our lads for dealing with it excellently, in all areas of the pitch. Absolute peak of season this, we've hit form at the right time, and I have hope for both competitions we're in. -

That's a straight red on it's own, never mind a yellow. π€¬π€¬ -

That tracking back was immense for an attacking winger. Great effort. ππ -

Massive half this. Can guarantee the ref will give us nothing too. We've painted a picture in his head with too many dives. Will have to be a real clattering to get a decision. -

Does Vale know how to sprint? So lazy when you're only on for 10 mins. -

Time to see if this lot can change the script. Turn the page here, it could stand us in great stead to break the playoffs. -

Who cares what happens on their forum? That's not a benchmark we aspire to surely. In fact, if we're doing the opposite of them, sounds good to me. -
I'd put Dolan on daily diving training. Improve his technique. Shame, cos that was a strong leg in, cud easily have been a pen, but he makes it so bloody obvious. The ref's feel insulted.
-
Yep, definitely going for the inside man. Nice for the ball to roll kindly for us.
-
Would be nice if we actually got the decision given in the match for once. They're amazing at spotting every single infraction we make (Buckley's head bounce), but things seem much less clear when our lads are getting crunched. I swear we've had a few '3 yellow card' culprits this season. With the guy finally seeing a card in about the 82nd min. π

Nice touch that Trav tidying up Dack's shinpads after they'd been flung in anger. He even stored them neatly into the physio's bag. -
He's been great on the ball, but doesnβt inspire confidence in defence, but looks like it could be my issue. Whether it's the physicality grappling with the attacker on a long ball, or someone running at him with ball at feet, I'm panicking every time. But hopefully I'm way off the mark, and everyone else is right. π€·π»ββοΈ
-
And last maybe? π€ What has happened to S. Wharton. Looks devoid of confidence. When they do score, I'm fearing it will be him at fault.
-
So are they on us, but they're doing it sporadically. Which is clever, because our defenders surprised is not good.
