  1. VI subbed him off because of a hamstring strain.
  2. Tavares, Henriksson and DeNeve are among the worst-ever signings at this club. Total cost about £3m (supposedly).None of them offer anything whatsoever at this level and wouldn't look out of place in L2.
  3. Hed do well in La Liga which is more technical and less physical plus a great lifestyle. Definitely won't be here next season. Yet another DeNeve style downgrade incoming to replace him, probably in L1 by then.
  4. With Waggott gone (and enjoying his lucrative gardening leave), Pasha is likely to be out of the country, so there's nobody left apart from a few minions.
  5. Is anyone "in charge" at Ewood Park??
  6. Not necessarily. Wages in L1 are a fraction of even the £10k pw reportedly paid to the top 10 players at Rovers. Total wage bills at more than half of L1 clubs are below £10m compared to £25m at Rovers. Of course ambitious clubs pay more but Venkys are not that.
  7. Being interviewed by the accountant who now runs the club
  8. Not over yet. Particularly after today's clueless capitulation and virtually all the teams below picking up unexpected points.
  9. 46 points won't be anything like enough.
  10. Still have to play at Rotherham, Lose there .......
  11. Both Rotherham and MK Dons winning. A bad day gets worse............................
  12. Another abysmal result and performance. I expect this will be longest thread in the next 4 months.
  13. After today's dismal surrender, a third successive game without a goal (and scarcely a clearcut chance), it is only realistic to restart this thread. Under PL there have been streaky wins against struggling Rotherham and 10-man Bristol City and in the last two matches wins for opponents (Reading and Bolton) who have forgotten what it is to win. Although other results were favourable today, there are plenty of other opportunities for the teams below to catch-up and overtake as there are visits to Rotherham and Charlton.
  14. Add Dave Wagstaffe to that list.
