  1. Paul, do your older 2 kids not contribute for their tickets? Im sorry, im not trying to critize your parenting or anything, but im 19 and have been paying for my own tickets (throught money from job/saving bday and c'mas money etc) for the past 2 1/2 yrs since i was 16. If your paying all that money which you listed out, it is a damn lota money!
  2. Let Gally grab a hat-trick for Stoke against the dingles on Boxing day and then re-call him in time to score 1 against Wigan
  3. For those who have much greater knowledge then me about young players, how far away would you say Garner, S Peter or Taylor are from the first team squad? Do you think they look like they can make it as professional players?
  4. Very frustrating on saturday, Dickov's shoot deserved to go in and reward the superb Rovers support that sang 'barmy army' for most of the last 20mins. It was a game where key points made the difference, Emerton not scoring the open goal, Peds hitting the bar, rather than going in the top corner, and Dickov being offside when perhaps on would have changed the result of the game. We played reasonably well from start to finish, and im pretty sure that the free kick for their 1st goal was not a free kick. Savage was our best player for sure on saturday, whereas tugay was quiet. I have to admit, i dont like the bently behind Dickov lark that Hughes is doing at the moment would like to see a more out and out front 2. Dickov played well to be fair tho. We need Bellamy back as soon as poss, i guess that goes without saying. Boro defense looked a little shaky against spurs so im still hopeful that we can get 2 favourable results against them this week. We're due some bloody luck after all!
  5. Right we've waited until monday. Can we have an update please Lee
  6. Oww, dont be a spoil sport Lee . Everyone loves to see how ticket sales are going for matches!
  7. Just ordered my ticket now on the phone, no queue whatsoever, took about 45 seconds. Always works, just wait until the initial panic is over on each morning and wait till mid-afternoon and you always get seen to quickly!
  8. Tell him if he gets a half season ticket for himself and another member of his family you might consider it Anyway, will get my ticket today and its great to see demand so high. Does frustrate however, when you think about our average travelling support. Cant even sell 1,900 for old trafford!
  9. How are ticket sales going? Pay on the day i guess?
  10. Its a bloody internet mb, who gives a flying f**k how good/bad someones spelling is, so long it can be understood. It flippin annoys me when people go on about that.
  11. How are ticket sales going for this game? I presume it will be pay on the day at the gate or at least thats what im relying on! We have a excellent recent record at C/C, but they are good at home and have boa morte and dioup back from the b'ham game Fulham 1-1 Rovers Bently.
  12. Yeh your right ive just checked out soccer-stats and it is 19905. For the rest of the season, bar portsmouth i dont expect any sub 20K gates. Wigan will have as they drop down the league.
  13. Good thing there is a large allocation, as this match is gonna be very popular! I will get my ticket tomoz, probably do it after the intial rush at like 3.30 in the afternoon or something similar to that. How many diff types of pies do they do also?
  14. Bellamy has only been back to full %100 fitness for about a week. To get injured again is sickening. Still, lets stay postive lads we can still win games. To be fair bellers has missed a hatful of chances recently............. Screw it, i cant put a positive light on it, WE'RE DOOMED!
  15. Look, im not saying it wasnt a dreadful mistake and im not trying to make an excuse for the actual mistake itself. However, i honestly dont see how an error whilst playing right back has got anything to do with his level of performance and competence at centre back!
  16. I dont see it as a poor excuse. When people get played out of place, they make mistakes. Surely you would have remembered that frightful day against wba on the opening day of last season when Souness, trying to make up for the lack of left footers in the team the previous yr, put about 6 in the team that saturday! It would be hard to critize Zurab that badly, as it aint his best position.
  17. Both my countries are there! Born and mostly raised in England, but to 2 American parents, i support both countries at football. Hope they dont draw each other in the draw on fri!
  18. He was playing out of position at right back which is why the error doesnt count when discussing his ability at centre back.
  19. 1864-You could have ground entry free for the Qpr game and we would still struggle to sell more than 20,000 tickets.
  20. Excellent result for them on monday against big club b'ham. Still, Rovers 2-1 West Ham.
  21. Vinjay, won obviously werent a Rovers fan back when we were in the 2nd or 3rd tiers of English football. Now im not saying i was, due to my age (18) ive been brought up on premiership football and i used to be somewhat like you. Why cant the walkers just buy everyone, why cant we win the prem again? Relegation changed my outlook on life, and now i am very happy to be a mid-table prem team. We are already punching above our weight, so back the team instead of moaning about investment. It just makes you sound ungrateful and arrogant, how many of the 92 league clubs would like to be in our position? 80+ that should put some perspective on things. As for the gate y'sday, no supprise, whoevers idea it was to put that match as category A+ must be a complete idiot. West Ham will be an ok crowd next week cos it cate B and they will sell a fair few tickets!
  22. The official crowd for that Burnley relay according to East lancs derbies by Dean Hayes was a coupla hundred short of a massive 54,000. Anway, back to the charlton game. Went with a non Rovers supporting mate and he was very impressed by our comeback, thought it was something quite amazing as did i. Thought that the support was pretty good also, cosidering it was south-east London on a wed night in the carling cup (c 1000 there). Superb goal from thommo, but i dont know whether he'd be better suited to central midfield or right midfield. Finally, it was good to hear all the Rovers fans with London accents, must have been about 1/2 the allocation from the voices i heard. Good to see Blackburners who have moved down to London it times of unemployment in the past getting their sons/daughters and grandsons/granddaughters to support the Rovers. It means we will always have a decent support at London away games!
  23. Jeez, another policemen spell checker on the run. It was a typo ffs, and as i wasnt writing a gov report but actually on a blackburn mb, im not gonna be too bothered about my spelling so along as you know what im saying. So p1ss off
  24. Yeh im going to this 1 also, really looking foward to it. Im going out in London afterwards so i hope y'all have fun in Wigan
