I'm currently watching Hinkley vs Brentford and I wouldn't fancy playing them at their ground, its pretty shocking compared with the league grounds. Would be an excellent day out though! -

The FA Cup 3rd round is probably one of the most famous dates in football. Its a chance to inject much needed cash into football clubs which could help them survive for the next 10 years. Its a day when dreams can be rewarded and when dreams can be shattered. This is why the FA Cup is the most famous cup in league football around the world. Hopefully there is a lot of possible banana skin ties where the smaller teams get the chance to face the big boys. Hopefully we won't be playing Bournemouth! -

Dickov is a disgrace, he works his heart out for the team, he scores wonder goals (man utd), he scores penalties (2 in 3 games), he scores headers (norwich) he runs non-stop for 90 minutes (probably runs more than Paula Radcliffe did at the Olympics). He cost £150,000 - waste of money and at 2ft tall he doesnt win headers. What a crap player! Dickov has been our saviour, how anyone can question anything about this player is beyond me. Will you be saying these things when he keeps us up in the Premier League -
That's the only picture we're gonna see this year then! Couldn't you have made her do it every time we lost a game?

The fact that Nissa and Toddy were showing their silky skills in the opposition box proved how good we were today. Excellent performance lads!! -
Nirvana - Come As You Are Just a reminder to all you Nirvana fans, I think the 4-disc Nirvana Box-Set actually gets released today so go out and buy buy buy!!

If this is true then those people should be ashmed of themselves and should be banned from football games for good. They are a disgrace.

We should excellent 'Bounce-back-ability' in that game. So unlucky not to win it at the end, but Birmingham had their chances as well. Excellent game! -

Thank you Tony for everything you've done for the club. It feels like a death to the club. I am totally shocked by this. I wish him luck with everything he decides to do in the future. Good luck Tony. Just read this from a news article and I 100% agree! Parkes never hankered after the limelight or moaned about players or their wages. He was a football man through and through, still in love with the game after all that time and 100% dedicated to Blackburn. Time moves on of course but football fans by necessity sometimes want to live in the past and feel that their club is fully protective of it’s heroes. Although it is dead right that Parkes would not want to be fobbed off with some meaningless new role, the least he deserves is a properly organised testimonial against big opposition and the chance to take the applause of the fans at Ewood Park one last time. Hey guys, just got back from Manchester! I totally loved the game, every minute of it. We deserved to win by more but at the end of the day we got the 3 pts and also put across a really good positive performance. It was the first time ive ever been to Old trafford and all I can say is...WOW!!! It's so big and the views are amazing. I was near the back and the view was great and theres loads of leg room. The atmosphere was great as well and really loud at times. Also Wayne Rooney is fan-bloody-tastic when watching live. His off the ball movement is amazing and when he's on it...well, he's superb. Anyway, i've got a few pictures for you all to check out if you wish! I recently went to The Valley for the Charlton v Southampton game and Charlton always seem to play the ball out to the left to Rommedahl who is VERY fast, however his final ball isn't as good considering the positions he gets into. Although, he does tend to drift out of the game so it could be a good opportunity for Neill to get up to their box to help out the attackers. I think this game will be a classic between two struggling teams looking to make the step up the league. I will go for a 2-1 Blackburn win. Jansen to get the winner....AGAIN -
Good idea - I reckon the good Dr Rich should personally visit every potential member and give them all a big welcoming hug.... wow what service! he's just visited me in Southampton and gave me a hug and a peck on the cheek

Yeah i agree. At the end of the day, the rules are quite easy to find and read and to be honest it doesnt really matter if you PM the rules or not because if they really want to be a good member of this MB then they will quite happily read the guidlines so they know what can and cant be posted. If people get a nice welcome then they will feel more part of the community and might not see this place as just a normal MB where you can just post whatever, but actually feel like you are contributing towards certain discussions and being a part of the group.
