  1. Exactly this. Half the time when Cantwell has the ball there is zero movement around him. I've seen a few examples recently where several players will only play the ball to Gueye as a last resort.
  2. Duru is about to turn 20. Beck turns 23 this year.
  3. Jarrad Branthwaite wasn't particularly good when he was here - would anyone have him back? *This is in relation to whether Tyler Morton can do a job for us rather than suggesting we buy Branthwaite
  4. As of a month ago we wanted three signings in January. A left sided centre back, a winger and a striker. Whether that's changed since then I don't know. We had an extremely long short list of players at that point.
  5. Haven't WBA made similar budget cuts to Rovers?
  6. Leeds have won nine in a row at home, keeping clean sheets in seven of those. This seems like the most obvious win-to-nil for a home side you're likely to see. I'm tempted to bet on that as that will guarantee it doesn't happen 😂
  7. I'd bought four tickets for the Riverside but wanted to change them for BBE upper tier when they became available so I went into the club shop last week. They said they could do it but I would have to get a refund on my original tickets and then go online and buy them again. I asked why I couldn't just buy the tickets in the shop. "We are trying to encourage online sales so it'll cost an extra £8 to buy them here" "But I'll get a physical ticket?" (Two were for Christmas presents) "If you want one" Ridiculous that someone should be charged an extra £8 for tickets to buy in person. It must cost a few pence to print them and they didn't even have to post them.
  8. This post was quickly made to look very silly 😂
  9. Did we win 6 in a row under JDT at home? I thought I read the last time we won 5 in a row at home was in 1994/95.
  10. Didn't go tonight but Powell looks like he's got something about him. Probably our best player against Lyon.
  11. Also worth noting that two of the top three after 7 games got promoted.
  12. Beck shouldn't have any concerns there 😂 Joking aside, Beck is on another level to Pickering.
  13. And maybe switch to being straight when you get home 😂
  14. In reality everyone wants a wife that's a keeper.
  15. Our actual away record against them in recent years isn't too bad. 2-2 last year (but we were 2-0 up) 1-1 in 22/23 (last minute Hyam own goal) Won 4-1 in 21/22 Won 3-0 in 20/21 Last defeat was 3-2 in 2019 when we had gone 2-0 up in 11 minutes. Not a single member of our starting eleven on that day is still at the club.
  16. You're confusing games.
  17. How about this one?
  18. You seemed to rapidly gain in confidence as your post went on 😂
  19. Walking distance from my house and they opened the bar which was a bonus.
  20. Powell was the stand out for me at left back. Litherland looks decent on the ball. Caddick looked quite tidy. Tyjon looked quite lively when he came on. Mafoumbi reminds me of Ennis. He looked overweight. Difficult to see anyone making a break through this season but presumably Lyon are a pretty high level and we didn't get outclassed.
  21. Duru was there with his girlfriend. She looked decent.
  22. I was just watching some highlights of Cozier-Duberry on Youtube. I assumed the Bukayo Saka comparisons were the usual lazy comparisons. But he absolutely reminds me of Saka. He looks a real talent. Looking forward to having someone like him in the team.
