Danny Graham gave that podcast interview recently where he said that Mowbray and Venus have completely contrasting views on the way football should be played and they’re like chalk and cheese. It’s stuff like that which goes a tiny way to explaining just some of the muddled thinking we consistently see on the pitch. Surely your back room staff are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

Geniunely intrigued - I certainly didn’t see it, but did he get off his chair once during the game that anyone saw? Something doesn’t smell right. Even if he does have the hump with the V’s, as we know all too well, it doesn’t mean they’ll put him out of his misery.

It’s absolutely down to Mowbray and his coaching team to organise us from set pieces. The best managers get it right and reap the rewards. I’m fed up of seeing us concede from set pieces what feels like weekly while offering zero threat from ours. One goal scored all season from them and 9+ conceded. I’d argue that Mowbray doesn’t come close to knowing his best 11, let alone formation - as admitted by the man himself. We all know he could win 3 on the trot with a 4-4-2 and the same personnel and he’d end up buggering it up in the 4th match for fear of their left back running riot. He simply has to go - the chaos that ensued tonight proves that. Absolutely baffled how anyone can believe he should keep his position.
