  1. Let's just all become anti-Huddersfield fans in the play-offs. Their spanner manager with the specs will come a cropper, I am sure of it. See how much worth resting their players is then.
  2. A little meat on the bones to Tony's negativite approach: https://audioboom.com/posts/5861856-rovers-head-coach-tony-mowbray-ahead-of-crucial-final-home-game-against-avfcoffici Someone may need to remind him that 3 points is kinda important tomorrow.
  3. Huddersfield have persistently let us down over the past couple of months so why should it change now. We should have taken care of our own business regardless and have only ourselves to blame. Expect us to be down by 4.50pm on Saturday.
  4. Who is starting the Villa thread? Mercer wants to get his 4-1 romping home win prediction in.
  5. Emnes has been bothered once all season - at home to Utd. There's a reason nobody can get a tune out of him.
  6. If we won both our final games I honestly think QPR would go as I can't see them getting another point. They're woeful. Can we get two wins on the trot? Not a chance. We need to forget about Forest; they'll be safe.
  7. Bugger, just seen that they play on Tuesday. Couple of days extra rest for Big Club.
  8. Big Ton will set us up for the draw, that's a guarantee.
  9. Not just the Huddersfield game but Bristol City on the final day too. We could really have done with them needing something themseves but they'll be long safe by then.
  10. Far too negative, especially at home.
  11. If Big Club win tomorrow than you have to think it's goodnight. Sickening.
  12. Kodjia of Villa has had his 3 game suspension reduced to 1, meaning he'll not be available to take on Big Club, but can face us the following game. Very frustrating and unfortunate, especially when we're already up against it big time. The footballing Gods need to do us a turn soon, surely. He scored two against us in the reverse fixture, for anyone wondering what kind of impact he may have.
  13. I believe the stat is first half as opposed to full match.
  14. Thanks for the updates PB/LR. Great to hear so many positive things about the youngsters, particularly the influence of Johnson and Dunn. Also very heartening to hear that tactically they're consistently spot on too. I've said before but I'd be more than happy to see Johnson having a crack next season in League One if Mowbray walks/is potted. Nobody is going to be a success under the V's, but at least in Johnson we have a man who is working wonders with the young lads; of which will be the lifeblood of the club next season.
  15. Read that too; beyond pitiful. Also said we haven't been in the lead at HT at Ewood since the Brentford match in November. Statistics which illustrate precisely why we've been planted in the bottom 3 for so long.
  16. I don't know about everyone else but I'm looking forward to having a break from football this summer. It's been nothing but relentless pain and heartache for 7 seasons now and it's taken its toll on me. We all know that unless they bugger off then it's going to get worse come August, whatever division we're in.
  17. He'll get 'em fired up for one win, for sure. Us or Forest I'm afraid and I know whose fixtures I'd prefer.
  18. This is a big result tonight - genuinely thought they'd win. Confidence will take a hit from here.
  19. Varney OG. Is the tide of Rovers luck finally turning?!
  20. Surprising that. Most on here were telling us that they were dog awful and couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.
  21. Mercer - you will be one deflated guy at 4.50pm tomorrow - it's going to open your eyes. Our boys don't have the cajones that Forest/City do.
  22. Please leave our softies alone. According to some on here they should shoulder absolutely none of the blame for this seasons 'efforts'.
  23. Just came across this too - we're the 11th most successful Premier League team of all time - West Ham have only just recently knocked us out of the top ten: http://www.myfootballfacts.com/All-TimePremierLeagueTable1992-93to2010-11.html Makes you want to weep.
  24. IF Mowbray is potted/walks come the summer then we should just give it to Johnson. Clearly has the buy in from the younger lads and seems to have excelled so far in the role.
  25. If points were given for talking then we'd be romping home with the title this season.
