From what we’ve seen so far, and from what Plymouth fans have said, I don’t think Ennis will ever stay fit. Gallagher too plays a handful of games then is out for another 8 weeks. To be reliant on those two is a damning indictment of where we’re at. Hopefully Sigurdsson comes good but he’s never scored lots of goals - more of a wide forward as I understand it.

Whichever front 3 anyone on here selects, it’s dreadful. Dolan, Markanday, Hedges - not good enough. Leonard should be on loan in L1 or coming through gradually from the bench. I’ll be stunned if Semir comes good this season. For the millionth time, thanks Venkys.

This isn’t just a Tomasson’s Rovers issue. It’s been going on for years. Once we’re behind it’s pretty much lights out. How we came from behind against Millwall to win when it didn’t matter said a lot about our mentality.

I have a funny feeling Semir isn’t going to be the answer to our prayers if JDT didn’t fancy him for more than 10 mins when we were desperate for goals and had no other bugger who looked remotely likely.

I must say, if he truly believes our summer business was great, like he says, then he wants sectioning.

Two losses at Ewood already and we’re not even out of September. Hard to see how we do anything this season - squad simply doesn’t have enough quality. It really is laughable that not one signing is having remotely any meaningful impact on this side. The blame is pretty much on Venky’s here but I will say that our recruitment team don’t seem to have covered themselves in glory either - likes of Tronstadt can’t even get a kick whilst the Ennis gamble is backfiring.

I was hoping the Rotherham game may have been a turning point on that front, but who I was I kidding.

Also had an "illness". This lad is going to exceed Grella's time on the sick bench. You can't say all the warning signs weren't there. People can try to be as positive as they want, but it's looking like a highly risky signing - given the years involved - that is going to backfire.

Broughton always talks well and this interview is no different. I don't know how anyone can knock him, his scouting team or JDT given the crumbs (if that) they had to work with. It's interesting this £5m figure reference from Raya. I was told it was £4m and that was from a v decent source.

I really want to hear his post-window interview as to the reason that zero experience was brought through the door. Now, I'm imagining this is a Venky's/Suhail thing, but his interview should give clarity on that. If it was a GB / recruitment decision (unlikely IMO) then it was a nuts.

Hard to score it anything to be fair. JDT asked for experience, we delivered fuck all. He won’t be here next season and who can blame him. Until those wretched owners leave us, we’ll never, ever progress.

To be honest I was stunned when people were giving it 7 and 8s yesterday pre Buckley leaving. We’ve brought in more kids and inexperience. It’s been shit.

It’s hard not to be angry right now. Shambles at the back and in midfield = no experience brought in. Shambles up front - a guy brought in whose highest goal scoring feats are from Germany’s 4th tier. Just fuck off once and for all Venkys.

If he couldn’t be motivated today against his boyhood club for the first time, then there really is no hope.
