  1. Think of all those they’ve paid off in the past though (players and managers). This would be a drop in the ocean in comparison. I just don’t get it.
  2. Beat me to it. They’re not going to be on millions. So why on earth don’t we just pot them if, quite rightly, it’s a sticking point with decent managers.
  3. So it's taken five(?) weeks to identify our main man, and it's looking like it'll be extremely difficult to prise him away. Not to mention any potential delays over a work permit. We start pre-season training next week. Only at Rovers.
  4. According to their local journo, Boro want Arma on loan for the season too. A double kick right in our goolies.
  5. He’s barely had 3 points in management for 5 years and is supposedly one arrogant t*sser. So no thanks.
  6. Problems (again) with our latest number one target. Step forward Mr HSH.
  7. Yeah a couple times I believe, even when they went up to the PL. We seriously have our work cut out over the next 7-8 weeks don’t we?!
  8. Wilder has always wanted Lenihan hasn’t he. He’ll be a miss regardless of what some will say.
  9. Just checked the guys LinkedIn and he was just Marketing Manager at Bournemouth previously. Again, that’s a huge jump if he’s now heading up our department.
  10. Definitely feels like it’s going to be left field if it isn’t one of the two Norwegian’s. Despite our administration being tin pot, they do seem to do well to keep names from the public domain (when they want).
  11. Does feel like it'll be the same on the manager front doesn't it. A similar appointment to the DoF and it'll either be a masterstroke or disaster for me. Can't see anything in-between.
  12. He's just chatting utter shite at this point that anyone of us on here could come up with.
  13. Would imagine Sharpe’s taken his info from this fella with decent Norwegian football links. Translation below too: Ronny Deila has also been interviewed for the vacant job at Blackburn, Nettavisen is informed. He is also one of the candidates at the Championship club. Deila is open to leaving NYCFC and MLS, to take over a club in Europe.
  14. I'd imagine the paycheck is what they want rather than the Rovers gig. As I say, in an ideal world I wouldn't appoint him, but like some on here, I am fearing a HSH reject coming on here.
  15. I'm exactly the same. Far, far from my first choice, but he at least wants the job and cares about the club.
  16. Last man standing yet we don't like him. So back to square one? I give up on our 'administration'. Actually, I gave up on it some time ago. As for Nathan Jones, I wouldn't want that t*sser anywhere near our club. Can't stand him.
  17. Just come back from a mini holiday so not been on the forums. I was going to ask what have I missed out on, but I can see the answer is the square root of bugger all.
  18. This guy with a large Twitter following who works within football (incidentally he broke the Mowbray had left news) appears to have followed us only since then but has already identified our shambolic approach:
  19. Yep. I’ve really tried to hold my tongue but this is now appearing farcical at best. We knew he was leaving for a while, yet we’re ‘hoping’ to speak to candidates for a second interview four weeks in. Jesus wept. We will NEVER advance as a club under this lot.
  20. The second one was an absolute stone waller. Check out the defenders reaction at the time - look to the ref, hands in the air, he knows he’s as guilty as sin. I’d still be as sick as a parrot if I were a Hudds fan this morning. VAR was surely brought in for the final to get those massive decisions right?!
  21. I’ll be seriously underwhelmed / peeved if it’s Ferguson or Carrick. Show some ambition FFS. Pah, who am I kidding with this lot.
