  1. Missed most of the game today but absolutely made up with the win. Huge three points - we need that to really kick start our season again. We just need to shave 3-4 weeks off BBD’s injury so that we actually have someone who can put the ball in the back of the net!
  2. Hudds 2-0 up away to Brum. They’re second as it stands. I honestly don’t think they’re all that.
  3. You wont find me arguing. Just saying he’s about the only one who can produce a bit of magic other than maybe Khadra. We’re desperate for something, anything today.
  4. There were rumours on Twitter that it was slightly worse than being portrayed and he’d miss a couple games at least. Guess it could be true. I had him down as about the only one who may be able to pull a rabbit out the hat.
  5. Fantstic time to kick off if you win… Long old day ahead for my other half if we lose mind!
  6. No two ways about it we simply have to win today. A draw isn’t enough, we need to snap out of this atrocious form and come away with a morale boosting victory. A loss here today and against Fulham and the damage would be too far done IMO. One in off their defenders arse would do. COYB.
  7. You can hardly blame them for not trusting our famed medical department. I think we all know what happens here. He’s rushed back, breaks down again on international duty, or soon after, and isn’t seen again this season.
  8. We should be good at them given we play with three CB’s (and Nyambe) yet other teams target us on this as a weak point! We simply can’t be practicing them in training as they’re pitiful. Khadra and co have barely been able to clear the first man.
  9. Blimey, Chaddy. I would have thought that failed belief would have slapped you in the face like a wet fish by now. We don’t have one goal in the squad!!
  10. What chances? We barely create any real clear cut chances - and didn’t again yesterday bar the penalty. Apart from Swansea we’ve created 1-2 per match at best during this latest death spiral.
  11. Indeed. Mr Shearer and co would have given Gallagher both barrels if they were pundits for last night's game. Your only striker should be picking that ball up and demanding it, taking full responsibility.
  12. I’ll stick my head out and make one prediction. Unless they fancy putting one through their own net - we won’t score.
  13. Dembele isn’t a striker - he’s another winger/forward type that TM loves to stockpile. You can’t honestly say that we’ve not made one massive balls up in not bringing in a true striker during January. It’s clearly costing us massively, and very likely will cost us a play-off space as outside of BBD and Dack not one of them can put the ball in the net. Other teams have brought in useful options, even during January, yet we just stood still despite the huge warning signs and having the full month to rectify things. It’s infuriating.
  14. Yep. Even when we managed to put a half decent ball in, there was yet more 50p heading from our centre halves. The three of them are useless at attacking balls - save for JPVH’s header against Bournemouth.
  15. And this was before tonight! The ‘expected goals’ is hugely worrying. Again, apart from the penalty we created bugger all.
  16. Blatantly a John Park signing and not Mowbray’s. He must be sh*te if he can’t get a minutes action when we’ve just broken our club record goal drought.
  17. The soft underbelly, the late defeat, not managing the game, the tinkering.
  18. Yep. And let’s not forget either, that we still had 11 days to replace the (untested) kid, even if he was brought into play up top. I’m even more fuming with our January business then I am this death spiral as the latter was so damn predictable that I’d at least prepared myself.
  19. Since Sky showed an interest, for their customers’ viewing pleasure we’ve scored one goal in six live on TV. Conceded six mind. Two more to come in QPR and Fulham and then I hope they bugger off again for quite some time.
  20. Any lottery numbers to share for Saturday night, fella?!
  21. QPR must have won 10+ points with 85+ minute winners. The mark of a good manager and great mentality amongst the group. We only ever concede late winners.
  22. I’m not joking when I say we may as well pluck a youngster out from the youth team and chuck him up front - more in hope than expectation. Vale, anyone, I don’t care. Because there’s not one goal in that side - nor any within our first team squad without Dack or BBD.
  23. Great post, Den. The worst part of it all is that we won’t get an opportunity like this again under this lot. All our better players are leaving and the owners aren’t investing in decent replacements. It all points in one direction after this season unfortunately.
  24. Best player in training too according to Mowbray. Man chats constant b*llocks.
  25. Couldn’t agree more. That was the day we reverted to type and welcomed the Rovers and Mowbray of old back.
