  1. Love this. Good to see I'm not alone!! Come on lads, let's make it a bloody good night all round, and turn this form on its head.
  2. Really torn on predicting what’ll happen here. I’ll go either: 1-0 WBA / Carroll to score after bullying our defence all match. Bruce’s first home game, WBA on terrible form = Rovers the gift that keeps on giving. 3-0 Rovers. We’ll turn it on again at some point and if we are to win I don’t think it’ll just be a 1-0 or 2-1. Get the lead against them, their fans could turn a bit and they could well crumble. COYB, we have to get back on track.
  3. Just seen on Twitter that the lad is getting rave reviews at Pompey - they absolutely love him. Comparing him to Clarke and Webster who both ended up at Brighton for a lot of money.
  4. Reading this I had to wonder if I was actually on BRFCS! https://www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/general/qpr-fans/2572283-barnsley-match-thread Seems like they’re expecting the worst now and are also upset at their failure to bring in a striker in January.
  5. Who’s the chap who used to be on here that responded to every bit of news like this with: ‘who is his agent?’ Always does make you wonder at Rovers though under this lot, how some get done and others just don’t.
  6. Didn’t realise quite how tight it was getting below us…queue of teams only circa 5-6 points behind. We need to turn this slump around and fast.
  7. Yeah, I'd hoped he wouldn't return to type with the delusional post match pressers, but he's back with a bang. "We created loads of chances". For my money, we created one really decent opening all match. Forest had 6-7+. It was like the Mowbray of pre 21-22, where if we win the possession stats he seems to think we batter teams, when in reality we get to their final third and sh*t ourselves.
  8. That was the Lenihan from previous seasons last night. Brain dead, rash, frustrated. So, so unprofessional and the exact opposite of what we needed from our leader.
  9. Agree with all of this. You and I spotted the desperate need for more firepower yonks ago, yet nobody at the club seemingly did despite having a glaring opportunity to address things in the transfer window. The other thing about his handling of Nyambe, is Ryan is clearly a well liked member of the team, one of, if not the, longest serving players at the club. I can't imagine a few at least will be happy with TM's man management here and we need every single person at the club pulling in the same direction at the moment. He is one stubborn old goat at times.
  10. Yep. Similar to Dolan with regards to the end product, but at least Dolan works his absolute nuts off and must be one of the best pressers in the division.
  11. Couldn’t agree more. Our February’s are too bad for there not to be substance behind it. Poor recruitment every January? TM shoehorning new signings in just because he bought them? Other teams doing better recruitment every January? Conditioning of the players an issue just over halfway into the season? Take your pick - could well be a combination of all of them and then some others.
  12. Mowbray talked about us creating ‘loads of chances’ tonight. What on earth is he smoking?! Apart from Buckley’s howler and Trav’s follow up we created zip. Samba may as well have gone on holiday after that.
  13. February record since promotion from League One is: P20 W2 D6 L12
  14. Sheff Utd and Fulham away are losses, end of. WBA, Bruce’s first home match, Baggies on a bad run. How many times before have we gifted teams the three points in similar scenarios?! Leaves us with QPR amd Millwall at home. Like you I only see a potential victory against Millwall out of all that lot.
  15. Next 5 matches: WBA (A) / Millwall (H) / Sheff U (A) / QPR (H) / Fulham (A). We’ll be out of the play offs after that lot.
  16. The famed Mowbray death spiral, back with a bang after a strangely long hiatus. Can’t say there weren’t signs of the writing being on the wall against Wigan.
  17. QPR completely outplayed (again) by Boro by all accounts but got a draw. It’s going to be so depressing to see Bournemouth go up in second. Horrible little tin pot club.
  18. Eh? I don’t think we had one chance where as they had about 8 or 9 clear cut ones?!
  19. This is the only glimmer of hope we have. We’re screwed for February and at least half of March, but in true Mowbray style we’ll hit a purple patch at some point between now and the end of the season. It’s so infuriating how predictable this all is under him.
  20. I hope Darragh’s offering up a huge round of apologies for that b*lock he dropped tonight. A shameful decision by the captain and reminiscent of the Lenihan from previous years. Hard to see where we go from here. Bruce’s first home game on Monday when they’ve been terrible for weeks, so that’s a ‘license to print money’ in Mercer terms for WBA to romp home. Really am so dejected and upset tonight. For me it’s the night my promotion dream ended as there’s not a chance that this team or manager are going up. Gutted.
  21. One goal in five now. Cracking January transfer window.
  22. That’ll need to be 3 draws as we sure as hell ain’t scoring. 4 times sky have shown us now since the turn of the year and we’ve lost three times, scoring once. WBA to come on sky this Monday. Fantastic.
  23. A completely embarrassing display yet again despite a rally for ten minutes or so. Looking pathetic at the back. One goal in five. We’ll be out of the play offs in a few weeks time. We’re fecking terrible.
  24. Game over and goodnight. We suddenly look awful at the back as well as beyond toothless up top. Gutted tonight.
