Yep. Call me crazy too but I have a sneaky feeling we’re going to win today. COYB. -

I still don’t think Hudds are all that. They seem a little like us pre-Christmas in that they’re winning a lot of tight games (tonight aside). I reckon they’ll hit a rocky patch soon. -

We simply have to win the three home games on the bounce after Fulham. I know football doesn’t work like that but they’re all more then winnable, we’re at home, 9 points is needed. Hopefully we can get a point (or even more!) to kick things off tomorrow. -
He was only tweeting hours ago regarding the passing of another cricketer, Rod Marsh. Terrible news, RIP Warney.

Good news on the injury front: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19966774.blackburn-rovers-mowbray-gives-positive-injury-update-ryan-nyambe/ Ayalay's mid-season break rolls on. Great gig if you can get it. -

He's out for a little while longer yet. I bet the Boro fans are p*ssing themselves having warned us about these winter breaks of his. -

Watched the full match on catch up last night and it’s really encouraging that we’ve now outplayed two play-off rivals in a row in Sheff Utd (granted we got sucker punched) and QPR. Real cause for optimism if we can keep finding the back of the net - even just one p/m as our defence is very likely good enough - until BBD is back. -

Me too, would bloody love it if they nosedive but I cannot see it due to their strength in depth. Automatics was a pipe dream for us after the January window though. Just need to make sure we get a lottery ticket for the play-offs now as we simply don’t have the firepower for more than that. -

Yeah I too think those three matches may well define our season. We simply have to aim for 9 points. As you say, get those and we’ll be tough to budge out of the play-offs. -

Missed most of the game today but absolutely made up with the win. Huge three points - we need that to really kick start our season again. We just need to shave 3-4 weeks off BBD’s injury so that we actually have someone who can put the ball in the back of the net! -

Hudds 2-0 up away to Brum. They’re second as it stands. I honestly don’t think they’re all that. -

You wont find me arguing. Just saying he’s about the only one who can produce a bit of magic other than maybe Khadra. We’re desperate for something, anything today. -

There were rumours on Twitter that it was slightly worse than being portrayed and he’d miss a couple games at least. Guess it could be true. I had him down as about the only one who may be able to pull a rabbit out the hat. -

Fantstic time to kick off if you win… Long old day ahead for my other half if we lose mind! -

No two ways about it we simply have to win today. A draw isn’t enough, we need to snap out of this atrocious form and come away with a morale boosting victory. A loss here today and against Fulham and the damage would be too far done IMO. One in off their defenders arse would do. COYB. -
You can hardly blame them for not trusting our famed medical department. I think we all know what happens here. He’s rushed back, breaks down again on international duty, or soon after, and isn’t seen again this season.

We should be good at them given we play with three CB’s (and Nyambe) yet other teams target us on this as a weak point! We simply can’t be practicing them in training as they’re pitiful. Khadra and co have barely been able to clear the first man. -

Blimey, Chaddy. I would have thought that failed belief would have slapped you in the face like a wet fish by now. We don’t have one goal in the squad!! -

I’ll stick my head out and make one prediction. Unless they fancy putting one through their own net - we won’t score. -
Dembele isn’t a striker - he’s another winger/forward type that TM loves to stockpile. You can’t honestly say that we’ve not made one massive balls up in not bringing in a true striker during January. It’s clearly costing us massively, and very likely will cost us a play-off space as outside of BBD and Dack not one of them can put the ball in the net. Other teams have brought in useful options, even during January, yet we just stood still despite the huge warning signs and having the full month to rectify things. It’s infuriating.

Tony Mowbray Discussion

And this was before tonight! The ‘expected goals’ is hugely worrying. Again, apart from the penalty we created bugger all.
