WAR didn't get off the ground because it didn't have any members to drive it forward. Following the Blakeys meeting, fans stayed in the pre-existing groups. A group of fans came together at the first Ewood Park WMC meeting on 05.10.16 who had never met before and weren't affiliated to any of the existing groups. They were able to keep those meetings going and also involve the existing groups. Those meetings have been held twice a month ever since. The next meeting is 7.30 Tuesday 25 April, Ewood Park WMC. All welcome.

Woody is the man to speak to at Brig. The last coffin ceremony held at Brig was the raising of Preston's coffin. The committee liaised in advance with South Ribble Borough Council and Lancs police. They made it a charity event and stewarded the procession from The Hob Inn, down Station Road, stopping at the Trades Club where the coffins are lowered to or raised from the cellar, to School Lane and back to the Withy Arms where the coffin was put on display.
