  1. Good lad John. Proper hardcore supporter.
  2. If you read the article, the fan groups are weighing up all the possible outcomes, before deciding on their joint course of action.
  3. Valery Belokon considering appointing a Court Receiver to obtain the outstanding £25m he is owed. This is unprecedented in English football. All 3 fan groups considering ending their boycott together, should this happen. Looks like the end game for Oyston. https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/blackpool-fan-groups-release-joint-statement-about-potential-impact-of-court-receiver-1-9532125
  4. Three. Think our better displays and results under TM have mostly been without Evans.
  5. Great times. Rovers laid on coaches to away games from all surrounding areas, except the Ribble Valley for some reason. So the Valley Blues organised their own transport to every single game through the decade, usually a coach but if numbers were low, a tranny van. Legendary trips, including Highfield Road where the first ale stop was the bloody Farthings. Then there was Maine Road when we got to the Derby Brewery Arms on Cheetham Hill Road about 10am and the landlord let us in.
  6. After his final game some fans demonstrated on Nuttall Street. Peter White wrote "...no manager could legislate for the mistakes that team made". Bobby was gone that week. In came Don Mackay, the Full Members Cup win at Wembley and the start of the club's resurrection.
  7. We could send Bolton down with a win at Ewood on Easter Monday. Only 2 games left after that. Lowe will have more relegations to his name than Coyle.
  8. I was talking to 2 lads before the PNE game. Never met em before. They'd been to every away game but not been to Ewood this season. Also met a friend of mine from Blackpool at PNE, he's never been to Ewood this season.
  9. One of the nails in the nightlife coffin was the installation of roller shutter doors on the shopping centre (mid 90's?), which effectively cut the town in two in the evenings. Can't see that being reversed.
