  1. Stiff Little Fingers - Barbed Wire Love
  2. We could send Bolton down with a win at Ewood on Easter Monday. Only 2 games left after that. Lowe will have more relegations to his name than Coyle.
  3. Sun Kids - Rescue Me (Bini + Martini 999 Funk Mix)
  4. Nuyorican Soul - I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun
  5. Stone Roses - Fools Gold
  6. I was talking to 2 lads before the PNE game. Never met em before. They'd been to every away game but not been to Ewood this season. Also met a friend of mine from Blackpool at PNE, he's never been to Ewood this season.
  7. Deep Purple - You Fool No One
  8. One of the nails in the nightlife coffin was the installation of roller shutter doors on the shopping centre (mid 90's?), which effectively cut the town in two in the evenings. Can't see that being reversed.
  9. You won't find a more honest manager than Bobby Saxton.
  10. Deep Purple - My Woman From Tokyo
  11. Ha, they used to sell programmes on match days from a hole in the backyard wall on Tweed Street.
  12. Went on Neil Saxton's stag do to Magaluf about 15 years ago. Bobby was there along with Jim Branagan who still calls him gaffer. A doctor was called for on the plane coming back, Jim Bran had overdone it on the red wine. Lol.
  13. Loyalty existed then. Most of those players served the club for 100's of games and so became legends.
  14. Look at the board of directors, all dedicated local men. Sometimes they got "Sack the board" from the BBE. We didn't know what we had did we.
  15. That would be the Portsmouth game '85(?) WW3 lol. Jim Furnell also did an amazing job, officially Reserve Team Manager but in reality did all sorts. Legend. Tony Parkes, First Team Coach, 5(?) times caretaker Manager. Legend.
  16. I was talking to a friend of mine last week who is a good friend of Neil Saxton. Neil is the son of Bobby Saxton, Rovers manager from 1981-86. He followed a tough act, Howard Kendall and preceded the popular Don Mackay. My mate was saying he never gets mentioned, it's like he never existed. He did a great job at a tough time, keeping Rovers in the 2nd Division when all our Lancashire neighbours were plumbing the depths of the 3rd and 4th Divisions - our only derby games then were Oldham and CIty every year. Without him Rovers would have sunk probably to the 4th. A great bloke who still loves Rovers. Anyone got any memories or photos?
  17. The Selecter - On My Radio
  18. Let me put it this way.... If they sold up, I would be celebrating like hell.
  19. Saw Buzzcocks at Manchester Academy. Great band.
  20. Stone Roses - One Love
  21. Upper tier holds 3,000.
  22. Theatre Of Hate - Do You Believe In The Westworld
  23. Does Chaddy exist or is it another of those fake profiles?
  24. Tell us what you really think Greggy lol.
