  1. Don't forget the "Club Evidence Gatherer" employed by the club who used to film the Rovers fans in the Darwen End. Letters taped to seats threatening withdrawal of season tickets for persisitent standing when standing by visitors was/is ignored week after week, season after season. More akin to secret police than a stadium/safety management department.
  2. You'd never get through it. I've spoken to Ste B.
  3. Negatives: Inabiity to score at Ewood in the first half.
  4. I can buy Cask/Fosters/Smooth for £2.20 a pint and Guinness/Moretti/Kronenbourg for £2.60 a pint all day, every day.
  5. Court receiver appointed. https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/latest-from-the-high-court-as-valeri-belokon-s-lawyers-ask-for-a-receiver-to-be-appointed-to-try-and-bring-saga-with-blackpool-fc-owner-I have been stopped from posting this by moderators.-oyston-to-an-end-1-9593243 https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/news/crime/blackpool-fc-high-court-hearing-court-receiver-appointed-to-force-I have been stopped from posting this by moderators.-oyston-to-pay-25m-owed-to-valeri-belokon-1-9593624 https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/blackpool-fc-high-court-hearing-receivers-release-statement-following-confirmation-of-their-appointment-1-9593777
  6. CHOICE There's one cask ale pump I think - it might be the only one in use in the whole ground. There are/were hand pumps in every bar in the Riverside which haven't been used for years. PRICES The prices go up to fleece the fans. £3.80 for Fosters is not standard pub prices in East Lancs plus £1 entry or £50(?) per season membership for Blues Bar. FOOD The pies are ok. Can't comment on the rest of the menu. BANDS/ARTISTS A good move which other clubs adopted long ago. We used to be a pioneering club eg Radio Rovers, RoverVision. Nowadays we follow other clubs.
  7. We have 3 of the safest, best designed, highest specification stands ever built and I wonder if they will ever be full again thanks to Venkys/Caley for different reasons.
  8. It's 8,000 if every seat is occupied. What is Caley's obsession with netting off seats when there are gaps between each stand?
  9. It's £2 at Stanley for 2 hours before and 1 hour after the match and they serve good cask. If they win, they have winners hour, £1 a pint!
  10. Off topic slightly. Noticed on Saturday that Blues Bar prices come down at 6pm eg a pint of Fosters costs £3.80 before 6pm and £3.20 after 6pm. So fans are being fleeced during matches.
  11. A friend of mine, 50 year supporter, has always said, given the choice, he would rather Rovers beat Burnley than win the FA Cup.
  12. Warburton will need a big slice of luck to keep them up.
