Never seen anything like that second goal. Looked like the defender attempted a dive on the edge of his own six yard box and when ref didn't buy it the opponent was left with an open goal. Same player then passed it to opposition for the third. Shane Duffy vibes.

They also had Calvert-Lewin injured and Rondon suspended and also a bit crap and past it, so they have been playing without a striker. If they really wanted him they could have had him pretty easily any time. £15m not even overpriced really

My feed had the Radio Lancs commentary and they were creaming themselves over Wharton. Possibly Ormerod on commentary ranked it as the best debut he had ever witnessed. Think they were positioned with the Rovers fans too as the chants were coming through loud and clear. Enjoyed how we have adopted the Toure chant for the Wharton bros.
