  1. I have a friend who is a Sheff Wed season holder and advised me that Carvalho is the real deal.. plays attractive football and had them purring in the two season he was there, felt they potted him way too quickly.. He did however say, that although he promised blooding youngsters he never rally did.. He finished off by saying Rovers would be lucky to have him as an excellent manager youll enjoy his style of play..
  2. Genuinely wasn't keen.. until I heard him speak, just refreshing, honest and vibrant.. he also has a proven track record of over achievement with a small budget. I think we have an honest young bunch of players who could thrive off him.. Would be happy with either Ainsworth or Farkhe.
  3. Something that is interesting and I think speaks volumes is that seems only Dolan has actually gone on record to say anything about his previous boss..? And let's be honest Dolan is just an all round ultra nice guy!
  4. I must say, hearing Ainsworth speak, he really won me over, passionate, positive, players must love playing for him! He has made his team better than the sum of its parts and also made his players significantly better than the level they shoild actually be at!? A very poor man's Jurgen Klopp maybe! But yes think he speaks well and could be exactly what we need for the next 5yrs!
  5. Is it me or does Tony look like a burden has been lifted off his shoulders.. kind of says everything about Tony and his teams.. always at their best with no pressure.. Hood luck Tony, thanks for stabilising us, hopefully we can take the stabilisers off and push onto the next step!
  6. Personally think Brown has done really well.. First game in a league that is way above the one he was last playing in
  7. To say I'm worried about how the club / Venkys are managing this us an understatement... why would madame and crew want to speak to Tony other than to convince him to stay? I'm hoping by a stroke of monumental lick we end up with a half decent manager, season tickets sales depend on it!
  8. Can see this forum going into utterly meltdown if Farkhe ends up being announced after Warbrutons final game at QPR.. like many im hoping for him at ours!
  9. Looks like Mowbray is definitely on his way and the team know.. with this in mind I would send him packing ASAP and put ANYONE in charge who could motivate the team till the end of the season.. whilst looking for a perm long term solution.. Absolutely pointless keeping him around as we fall further into his black hole.
  10. Genuinely think Tony has lost the dressing room... although results weren't great up until the Derby game, alot of our performances were still half decent.. since that game we have been diabolical.. The only reason we are still close to the play offs is because of how poor everyone around us has been.. I'm hoping we replace Tony with someone of class.. and we can start afresh
  11. Hearing from a very reliable source that Rothwell has not been turning up for training.. also hearing that Mowbray is being labelled as arrogant..
  12. I think appointing Dyche and spending big money on his wages would be the smallest gamble we would ever take as a club in getting us back to the promise land; this would be a head over heart decision: 1. I think he would be mega motivated to take us back to the Prem, the way Burnleh have treated him. 2. He has a track record of success from a limited budget. 3. He is the closest thing to a dead cert of achieving promotion - £7m investment to reap over £100m in reward. If we are serious about promotion we need a Dyche, Wilder, Cooper not another low level punt. Do I think this is a possibility with Venkys? Absolutely not, but it would be the most sensible decision they have ever made.
  13. My choices would be.. 1. Mark Robins 2. Valaraen Ismail 3. Daniel Fakha I think its a big 3yr job now
  14. Worrying start... very open game they could have scored a few so could we
  15. Luton have a fighting spirit because of their manager... We are a reflection of our manager... nose bleed whenever we are anywhere near success.. he wakes up in the middle of the night sweating at the mere thought.
  16. Would take Mark Robins from that list, although Rooney first choice however unlikely.. I think we need a manager who is on the up.. and something to prove.. not a has been Mark Robins is punching with a team that is bottom to relegation quality in my view..
  17. APPARENTLY WE ARE FIGHTING.. for top 6.. embarrassed by our lack of intent and urgency today... Blackpool far the better team and they have nothing to play for. The fact we are where we are is a minor miracle
  18. Watching Rooney and how he comes across, fact he rejected Everton to stay at the basket club where he is at now is incredible... Would take him in a micro second!
