I'm very concerned about a number of players.. I think Ayala back could be a blessing in disguise, very decent defender / leader but also means we might actually do something from a set piece! Based on tonight Zefeeuik is a total headless chicken, we need much better! What happened to Giles from the other night? Rothwell was generally poor, Buckley again very poor tonight.. Van Heck / Travis / Khadra / Dolan and Gallagher only ones to come out with any credit to be honest! Mowbray has no plan B.. we go a goal behind and we are done.. is it two goals in 6 games we have scored now.? Worrying times.. hoping the death spiral is quick and we go on another run...

I think this is a great outcome.. Joe should be coming back determined to do everything in his power to help promote us over Bournemouth! I'm not confident we would have got a player who has the same momentum and impact Rothwell has had and was having to our team and system!

Ok so we don't go up... he has had us punching way above our weight this season and we replace him with who precisely? He has a formation that is working, done pretty well in the transfer market, buy in from the team it seems and is developing the youngsters.. not sure what else you want from him?

Any thoughts on Mowbray signing a new deal? Personal view is we should sign him up to a 2yr extension asap... I think there will be a lot of interest in him. I have gone from being a huge detractor to a fan...

Just got in and have to say I'm gutted.. given our upcoming fixtures this really was one we should be winning! We lost on mentality and tinkering.. Mowbray should do everything in his power to stick to our winning formula.. yes, the personnel may change but the principles should remain the same.. there are some definite things that he has to do if the injuries stay as they are: 1. Have a CDM to support Rothwell, either Edud or Lenihan and tell them to stick in front of the back 3/5! 2. As mentioned by a few on here Rothwell and Buckley are our best creators, the team excels when they do.. Buckley needs to play in the centre of the front three, even if slightly behind them, he unlocks the front two. 3. Bbd is better coming off the left or right not central, the other position can be occupied by Khedra / Markanday. 4. Gallagher should be behind Bbd, Dolan, Markanday, Butterworth in my opinion... be interesting to know how many games we have won with and without him, its literally having a man down and it has been for years now! 5. I think the wing backs are crucial, Edun was dire in the 1st half but better in the second.. JRC really struggled, we need a RB fit ASAP!

Markanday position.. possibly the current Buckley role as Buckley moves into the Rothwell role next season maybe?

I'm pretty certain we will invest in order to try and push for promotion, don't think we will risk the mortgage on it, but genuinely believe we will strengthen as this is our best chance since relegation and I do think the owners have the clout and faith; they also understand the pot of gold if we do go up.

Personally I have a lot of faith in Mowbray and team when it comes to the transfer strategy, especially in the last couple of years. We have spent very wisely and often young, up and coming with a decent re sale value.. I think he has learnt from some of his earlier mistakes, although it's always going to be a bit of a gamble given the type of players we either buy or loan in. But right now I'm pleased and have the confidence in him to bring in the right types..
