Could the Obafemi delay be a smoke screen to cover any challenge from Newcastle? And / or assuming we will have agreed a reduced fee as part of the Armstrong deal, when other clubs are asking they are being quoted a higher number than his valuation by Southampton, which is what I'm hoping is happening...

Anything more than a defeat and I'll be chuffed... WBA have stepped up a level, mainly because of their manager, who we should have snapped up at Christmas last year.. he sets his teams up to play the pressing game and with significantly better players than he had at Barnsley he is going to walk this league.. From our perspective, we are clearly desperate for a striker would look at putting Diaz central and Dolan / Butterworth left.. sorry don't agree with Gallagher being central, he's just not good enough unless he's part of a duo, which no one really plays any more

Really enjoyed that, I would be happy to take a few seasons of consolidation, if it allows us to blood / develop more of our youth.. as long as we dont get relegated.. my standard out players were Dolan, Kaminski and Buckley (bar a few miss placed passes I the 2nd half). Kaminski 8 - two phenomenal saves that could have easily meant a different result. Nyambe 7 - did his job Lenihan 7.5 - always commanding Ayala 7 - seems decent enough Pickering 7.5 - looks like he has potential Rothwell 7.5 - such a talent, must be a nightmare to play against, would be in the Premier if he had better final ball. Travis 7.5 - usual industrial self. Buckley 8 - seems to be coming of age, but needs to lose the casual mistakes. Gallagher 8 - one of his better games Dolan 8.5 - all over the place, well done young man! Diaz 7.5 - played like Diaz most of the game, much more confident, but occasionally saw Ben. Butterworth looked really good, excited about him. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable return to Ewood!

To be honest I'm desperate to watch live football at Ewood, so me and my boys will be renewing... although like many I feel totally disengaged by Mogga and the 2nd half of the season.. And yes, it is the hope that kills us!

Offering Bennett and Chapman is a surprise to me.. both have done nothing for Rovers in the last 2yrs... unless we extend Chapman and then sell him, I see no point in keeping him on as he clearly is only a League 1 player.. I'm hoping Bennett will only be on club mascot wages! Personally think the wages on both these guys could have been better utilised.

Couldn't agree more.. We need someone who has a vision and thinks big, someone who inspires belief and pride in the players, a leader who wants to over achieve... Currently we have the exact opposite, someone who will always 'limit beliefs' with his excuse, apologetic mindset, non accountable language and body language!

Absolute shambles that Tony is still here.. to say I was excited last week after the Bournemouth game when I heard he was going was an understatement, it was HOPE for a new start, a fresh start, yes they may have recruited a dudd, but I would always rather roll the dice and live life going for stuff than stay mediocre.. I'm hoping they're lining up a corker before potting Tony.. it definitely is the bloody hope that kills us

I honestly think, Buckley is an outcome of Tony.. he comes on and fades in and out of games.. a manager that demands high standards would really be pushing this guy.. same goes for many other players Tony is not a winner. He rules with his heart too much over his head
