Tony Mowbray and team are a bunch of dinosaurs when it comes to recruitment... they need to be serious hunters, to me just always feels like they are serious dilly dallyers... you snooze you lose and thats us all over!

I think we have some great youngsters coming through who deserve a chance, personally think Wharton Magluire and the guy who played there the other week are good enough to support the experienced man in Lenihan, we also have Wiliams if Lenihan is injured. Although I've never been a huge fan of Williams he has improved with time and as a CB they are often at their best between 28-33. Think we still need a LB, obviously a keeper and then if we have no money, we are fairly well stacked up in midfield (especially as Tomo doesn't like the winter type) with the guys that are coming through.. If we could just get a championship quality striker I would be over the moon but seems unlikely.

Key stat this Walton is utter.. We need an experienced GK.. doenst have to be amazing ill be happy with solid after the tripe Walton has served up

Voted go, for all the reasons mentioned by many and ones I have added to the Mowbray thread.. Mowbray = Mediocrity he has peaked, he will win a few and lose a few but won't ever be able to deliver a sustained challenge. I would bring Neil in from Preston, he would jump at the chance of joining us and lets be honest has over delivered massively at Preston!

I would give Johnson the gigg till the end of the season.. as long as he doesn't get us near relegation I would give him a season to learn and expect him to be very close to play offs following season.. Could be a gem.. also could be a dudd but right now quite low risk, alternatively we can continue to kill ourselves softly with Tomo ??‍♂️

Mowbray has not addressed fundamental problems with the team.. 1. CB issues 2. LB issue 3. Wasted £5m on Gallagher 4. Gk issue. 5. Plays players out of position all the time - why??? I don't get it.. 6. Always plays his favourites even though they're not good enough. 7. We ALWAYS BOTTLE it when we get close this is Tony's mindset! Utterly frustrated with this man.
