Failure to sign up well in advance means the power shifts towards the player as they run down their contract.. We should have tied all 3 down with 18 months remaining, that's when we have the power as it gives the player security. The one player of the three that is going to be difficult to replace is Rothwell.. CB and RB are ten to a dozen, but skill and drive like Rothwell will be hard to replicate.. and in my opinion he's one of the main reasons we have done as well as we have.. he opens up teams..

We have struggled in the final third... Also think taking Khedra off is always a backward move, we just tend to lose that attacking edge

I think bringing in 1 or 2 players in January could have the exact desired mental effect on the whole group..provided we stick to existing policy of 'good eggs' think this could be the difference between us pushing on or falling away..

I three quarters agree with this, although my view is when we recruit, we should also be looking at values / character as well as ability, this should be standard in the modern age and to be fair to Tony and team, it feels like they usually get this bit right.

I think we should buy the Barnsley RB Brittain.. he looks very good

Personally would be putting everything into signing up Rothwell and Khedra.. although seems unlikely... Think CB and Nyambe are relatively easy to replace.. I did say relatively.. but Rothwell and Khedra would be almost impossible to replace at our level

We seem to play much better when we have only the 1 x cdm.. personally would play 4-1-4-1 especially given the wingers we potentially have! Travis CDM Buckley/Butterworth Rothwell 2 x CM Khedra Dolan Ben on the wings Ideally a new striker

Oh what could have been if we had potted Mogga and replaced with Ismael at Christmas last year... he would have us top 6.. and yes with this squad, people would want to come and play for us.. Instead we have Stubborn Tony who won't call potential players to convince them to play for us..
