Travis is so far behind in this game he looks like he is still playing Doncaster. Need about 15 points to avoid relegation. Looking a tall order with the absolute sh*ite this shower have produced since November and getting worse every week. -
End of the season is too late. A rebuild of the squad to replace the several players who should be shown the door has to start now. June or whenever clueless Venkys might get round to appointing a replacement is too late.

Mowbray is lucky there are no fans to express their displeasure in person. I suspect that even defeats in the next two (back to back) home games will not get him shifted.

Blackburn v Doncaster, FA Cup, Sat 9th Jan

Time for Downing to hang up his boots. He's slow and dwells on the ball far too long. His stroppy reaction on being substituted suggests he's in denial. -

Continuation of the results and performances since October will not maintain a mid-table position. -

At least its free. -
Mowbray looks disinterested and is evidently half-asleep during matches and then in the post-match interview he just sounds utterly pathetic. If he had any self-respect he would quit now. It needs someone to put him out of his misery but of course nobody will.

A good summary of what we can expect to hear from Andy Bayes and in print from Rich Sharpe. -

So far the only team to lose to opposition from a lower league. Any management with a spine would be handing out the sack. But Mowbray is safe as houses thanks to having his mate as CEO and the disinterested and gullible Venkys. -

For God's sake just sack Mowbray. This was just another helping of the absolute shite this team has been serving up since October. -

Johnsons distribution is terrible. Looks like a pub team player. -

He's out of contract at the end of the season so if he does well and finds another club he just picks up a tidy signing-on fee. -

Mowbray under pressure from the fans fuming behind their screens. Might as well curse the weather for all the difference it makes. Under no pressure from those holding his (and the Club's) future in their hands. -

Loaning out Chapman gives more opportunity for Dolan and Butterworth who are contracted till 2022 and look better prospects. -
I somehow forgot Gordon Lee. His inclusion pushes TM out of my top 10.

We'll lose this one and he won't be sacked.

I simply don't understand the reverence in some quarters for Mowbray's "achievements". In the c55 years I've supported the club he's only just in the Top 10 managers based on league position and value added - behind Furphy, Smith, Kendall, Saxton, Mackay, Kenny, Souness, Hughes and possibly Big Sam. All these managers achieved more relative to their budgets and the resources they inherited in terms of both established players and upcoming youth. Apart from Dack and Armstrong, possibly Kaminski (early days ) where has TM added value in the squad? He inherited Raya, Travis, Nyambe and Lenihan and gave debuts only to the first two. The lynchpins of the promoted team - Mulgrew, Evans, Conway, Graham - were already at the club. The wages of £17m in L1 far exceeded anyone else in that season. In the 3 seasons since promotion he has only managed to maintain - so far - a midtable position in the Championship.

Mowbray is our mini-version of Arsene Wenger. Did a good job in turning round a dire squad, won a promotion and moved to a playing style that's easy on the eye - when it's working. Obsessed with stockpiling midfielders and dismissive of defensive strength and resilience. When results and performances dip well below expectations he just cussedly goes on in his own way.

Let's hope so. Defeat at Brum and out of the FA Cup would be well worth it for a fresh start.

I suspect the Brexit will prevent or at best delay an appointment of a foreign national. Just 36 hours left to get it over the line.

Michael Flynn is a good shout.
