  1. I’d be happy enough with that and a strong bench . I’d keep Walton in goal also
  2. Don’t forget Samuel will be fit for this. Might get some minutes i think JRC will get a start
  3. Can Cunningham play cb. Thought I read on here he could play there which would free up bell or hart to play LB.
  4. Has nuttal set the world alight at Blackpool yet ?
  5. It’s a lot like the city one. I agree the Sunderland one was by far the best. There is another Sunderland one out at Xmas time and a fleetwood one to be released when someone buys the rights. I should imagine that will be the best of the lot listening to joey Barton’s words of wisdom before contradicting himself and knocking out the opposing manager ?
  6. Aye should be a good game with the talent for that level on show
  7. Dominic Samuel to play tonight . Hart, JRC and Grayson also expected to play
  8. Hart playing tonight in the u23s so he won’t be playing tomorrow.
  9. Any idea how long davenport is out. I have high hopes about this lad and think he will be a good player for us if he can stay fit
  10. That’s exactly how I see it. I would still start nyambe over him
  11. We should all chant fuck off derrick fuck off derrick for a laugh on Saturday ?
  12. Did anyone see the post match interview with Williams where he said (paraphrasing) that he was fed up of being moved from left back to cb and wanted to focus on one position (cb) and improve. Tony agreed with him.so maybe that is the end of Williams at left back, makes you think how many other players are uncomfortable not playing in their preferred positions. That’s another reason I don’t like how Bennett gets abused off a small minority. Ultimately the blame lies with the manager. lets hope we can kick on now and I will happily eat my words about tony if we continue in the same vain as last night
  13. I think people are way to harsh on Bennett. He didn’t play badly tonight. I must of missed the tackle you are on about but he did more good than bad
  14. Can I just say again...WHAT A TACKLE by travis
  15. It’s going to take time to work. Its by far from perfect but for once I could actually see a style developing. i watched all of Man City’s games when pep cane and I could see what he was trying to do and urged less enthusiastic city fans to be patient. Throughout that season there were numerous errors and players that couldn’t play in the system and now the whole country is trying to do the same. im not comparing us to Man City but I was delighted with the performance and I finally feel we have something to build on. When you can see something to believe in it gives you hope and patience. I constantly criticise tony because he never delivers on the pitch what he says in his interviews. Tonight I cannot fault him. The line up was something different but I understood why he had done it. The changes where the correct changes at the right time and the performance wasn’t perfect but a damn sight better than anything I’ve seen in a long time. downing was excellent but I cannot understand how Williams didn’t get mom. By far or stand out performer, blocked and tackled everything then scored the winning goal. Very harsh to not be awarded mom. im going to bed a very happy blue and excited about Saturday (until bell ruins it)
  16. Cunningham. Marcelo in disguise how good is cardiffs left back if he can't get in the squad dreading watching bell Saturday after seeing this lad great signing
  17. What a tackle by trav. del and downing have been immense. for the first time I can see a pattern and style of play developing and I like what I see. It's not perfect but definetly worth persurveering with arma has had a shocker. excellent so far now joe to come on and seal the win COYB
  18. Whilst I totally agree with the point your trying to make I struggle to understand your attitude towards graham. Graham reminds me of Henderson or Carrick in the sense that you don’t realise how important they are until they aren’t in the team. You notice what they do more when they aren’t playing. but I agree we do need to find some answers and solutions to this conundrum this season. I personally think Gallagher is our most realistic option of filling Danny’s boots unless we have a significant change of style. I don’t need know where this leaves Brereton as he is surly going to stagnate having cameos off the bench and playing out of position. He will probably be behind Samuel when he is fit. We also have chapman to come into the first team on the right and butterworth is not far behind him as well as Rothwell. I just can’t find see how he even makes the bench when the squads fit. Very strange signing
  19. I can’t see anything but a 2-0 defeat with one team taking there chances and one rueing missed opportunities
  20. Why do you think she is called gumboots. Her signature is kicking all your teeth out ?
  21. It’s about time they sorted the WiFi’s out
