  1. It’s not what other players could we use it’s what did we do with the players available. We can’t keep trotting out hard luck stories . Maybe last night I’m being harsh as a one off but there is always A reason we can’t compete. ALWAYS. We just need to sort the keeper, we just need to sort the defence, we just need dack back, we just need rothwell driving forward . We just a need a manager who can organise a team of 11 professional footballers from the squad of 30 odd players he’s assembled to be able to play as a unit and maybe just maybe have the odd shot in target
  2. I think when the venkys said they would keep the values of the club, family feel being one of them they might be taking it to literally.
  3. The reality is if we are talking promotion push, which means aiming for top two then we are short all over the pitch. Every single position needs addressing which speaks volumes of the bodged assembly of a squad Tony has done
  4. I’m trying to look at it this way. We have numerous players out and he isn’t any worse than anybody in the starting 11. I have no problem with him coming back and offering us another option. It’s not like it was him or someone else and we have blown the budget. It’s him or nobody and he’s was decent enough last time. I’m happy he’s back
  5. Feels desperate we are desperate welcome back stewart get on a treadmill you start LB tomorrow night
  6. Literally anything but him. I’d play Wharton or magloire before him
  7. With Dave port in for Evans. Even with 12 out he doesn’t get in the team
  8. In these circumstances I have to agree. Del or jrc at LB as your only viable options it’s del for me. Providing Ayala is fit. Otherwise it would have to be the same as Swansea through what we have available to us
  9. I can’t get the two words out my head assambolonga and outmuscled ?
  10. I remember stating at the time he was a good player but ten million we should snap their hands off . Not many agreed. Although I shudder to think what we would be left with if he went so maybe they were right
  11. I’ve watched nearly all the games on ifollow and whilst I enjoyed the wins early doors it wasn’t the same sat on my own in my bedroom and after the recent shambles I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth persevering with for the rest of the season . No one to enjoy the wins with and we arnt going up or down . I paid the tenner and sat in front of the tv and knew exactly how the game would go against Swansea and it went that way. I stared at the tv on about the 70th minute and it was the 87th minute when I realised that is exactly what I was doing. Not watching just staring out of sheer habit/loyalty/stupidity. After that game I really questioned what I was doing . When your in the stadium or the coach after an away game you are all in it together highs lows etc. I don’t know what this is but it’s not enjoyable. Even going up would have a tainted we weren’t there feel. I already feel the season is set in motion to be almost scripted to last season. Lose against boro with another toothless performance and I may just call it a day until we are aloud back in. I don’t know if that makes me less of a fan but it just leaves me feeling almost empty especially when the post match comments just wearily repeat blah blah blah we go again with hands in pockets and a shrug. Roll on 2021
  12. Pearson would get the job done mccarthy would be a massive upgrade as would hughes if the owners were serious about promotion all of these would have already had a phone call before the game on Tuesday
  13. That’s just it in a nutshell. We’ve seen it all be before , time and again, season after season. Why people think it’s going to change is beyond me. If it was it would have happened by now or at least shoots of something changing. It’s exactly the same as the day we went watching burton only this time we have given him chances, we know exactly what’s going to happen.... nothing . That’s it. Nothingness .
  14. It really doesn’t matter who is available. Non of our lot can handle Assombalonga and if Armstrong isn’t playing we won’t even score
  15. This has to be one of if not the biggest gripe I have with him. How do you expect to progress if you don’t replace with better and push the weakest out. It’s better to have two new starting 11 players than five squad fillers. Push the starters to the bench hungry for there place back and get rid of the weakest. Not hand out new contracts so players have gym buddies . If he had done this year on year and used his budget wisely we would have a strong squad instead of kids and tried and tested duds
  16. Of course it’s Mowbray fault. He’s done well to fill in , in a position he has been asked to play . People where talking him up like he’s the next coming and premier league material. He has been distinctly average whenever he’s played and I see nothing that will stand him above the rest of our mediocre, average players. Make no mistake I’m not digging him out for today at all. He was exactly the same as every single player on our team today average
  17. The exact shite I was expecting all week. Sick of it
  18. I’ve just realised I’ve been staring at the tv since the second goal went in and I my brain just can’t focus on how boring and poor we are . I have no idea what’s happened since ?
  19. Sam would have him in the England squad as the next Kevin Davies . Slight exaggeration but well
  20. Still can’t see what the fuss with JRC . He’s as average as they come
