  1. id love Dwight gayle although very unrealistic. I think assombalonga could, COULD be a great signing. Running off the right wing or waiting about for 85 minutes a game for the ball to be passed over the half way line and slow build possession football isn't going to get the best out of him. All comes back to my point earlier. Whilst tony remains nobody really knows what any of the players we have are capable off so god help judging new recruits. we need a manager before anything otherwise were just pissing wages and fees up the wall ala Gallagher and Brereton and may aswell get relegated with the kids playing hoping to unearth a gem and ease the financial burden of league one.
  2. he was relatively poor at youth level. massive no from me
  3. 100k a week is more than enough for any player . Any contracts signed from 2022 should have a cap of 100k. However I’m sure there would be a way round it with bonuses and gifts etc. The problem is there is so much money sloshing around integrity is out the window and there will always be ways to manipulate the system. If the money in the game went to down to grass roots and back up the pyramid through the lower leagues it would create a better overall standard of leagues and competition, give the up and coming kids better chances and facilities impacting positively in the community and give us a better national team. Sadly it will always go to agents , top players and the few rich clubs at the top. We really could have a beautiful game if the right people cared and put the game and community before wealth and greed. It’s not like there isn’t enough to go round . Yet here we are from top to bottom riddled with debt , sharks round every corner and foreign owners who couldn’t give two shites charging ridiculous prices for tickets and shirts to the working class. It could be a game the world could be proud of instead of this shallow , hollow greed infested swamp. I may be a dreamer but I’m not the only one
  4. Then plays evans and a loanee trybull and leaves Buckley and Dolan on the bench 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  5. His team selections show that as well as his body language/sound bites. Keep everyone happy and giving everyone minutes and appearance bonuses until he gets his pay off
  6. I’ve contributed nothing to this board in nearly a year as there is nothing to say. I don’t care about who starts, who stays or leaves unless it’s the coventrio or venkys and that isn’t happening soon and the performances are so bland there is nothing to say. I don’t even blame the players . I have no idea how good they really are , where they play and what our best 11 is . I despair 😖😫
  7. Alright fair point . don’t be a girl about it 😂
  8. Yeah press self destruct when ready
  9. Honestly what the bloody hell does davenport have to do to be given a run of games. Sick of seeing that waster evans. Offers nothing. He haunts that midfield . The rovers ghost is how I will remember him. Been here forever and barely been seen and when he does play nothing changes. Still anonymous. Dreadful player who should have left with bowyer. Trybull a loan and even he gets a start in a dead rubber . Baffling but what’s new
  10. Mourinho would be perfect for the Celtic job. Can piss the league and cups and play that defensive shite in Europe being an underdog. The fans would love him and his ego would be serviced
  11. Which is why I believe they should just piss off and get on with it. I understand they take a lot of the finances with them but the rest of the pyramid wouldn’t just die. It’s could bring some sensibility back into the game and create a lot fairer and more competitive game. Let the big clubs do there corporate whoring and let proper football get back to how it was. There may be some turbulence along the way but in the long run I believe it would be a good thing overall. Completely turn our backs on them. We don’t need them and I’m sure a lot of the fans of these teams will show how they feel about it maybe bringing the beating heart of the game back to the forefront. People are already getting disenfranchised by the whole thing and it’s needed shaking up or a reset for along long time. This could be the scale tipping moment we as true fans of real clubs need
  12. I don’t know if it’s apathy or what but I’ve gone from thinking we can do better than ainsworth to thinking sod it, he could be brilliant he might not be but he’s one of us who would give his all. No bs, lying, no ah wells. No flogging training grounds for backhanders. One of us. If he’s trying his best I could get behind that. With this shower in charge and what could follow whether that be Mowbray staying or whatever other chancer is on the agencies books I firmly would have him as my number one choice
  13. Dolan just because of the circumstances. Enjoyed that one going in.
  14. Only thing worse than watching this shite Rovers team is watching it on this bloody awful buffering ifollow
  15. I’d love to know what Dolan and Buckley have done to be benched. Should be starting tonight and rest of the season except for injury or major cock ups
  16. Here’s a question. If he were to be sacked/leave by mutual consent at the end of this season. What reception would you give him on his return in the future ?
  17. Is there any pre match radio from Miller ? if so can someone post a link please 😁
  18. Not watched for a few games. Going to tune in for this. No idea why. Morbid curiosity most probably
  19. I’m a nurse. Imagine if I said “ is he going to make it, I duno , I never check his results ,hopefully fingers crossed I can speak to a consultant in a few months and we can take it from there . I’m sure in the next four or five tests something positive will turn up“ “Are you doing everything you possibly can to keep him alive” “I’m selling his heart monitor and buying state of the art stethoscopes,
  20. You could have the exact same outcome I.e ten yards out , proffered foot etc but put shearer and brereton in the same position and I’d expect the former to maybe do a little better
  21. So it literally means who squanders and wastes the most opportunities . Brilliant. May aswell be top of that league aswell
  22. id like to think he is. I'm confident he will be . i would just liked to have seen the odd tackle in the package as well as the assists and free kicks. Defenders defend first and foremost
