  1. Unless he’s going to do the honourable thing ….. nah I’m just messing hes here forever 😂
  2. Might just be filling in until the internationals return 😂
  3. I never really saw him play. Only game I saw was when we lost 4-3 to rod wallace , I mean Leeds, and galley hit a worldie. He just doesn’t seem to get mentioned or have left an kind of lasting impression with the fans and he was awesome at the World Cup
  4. Would you put Martin dahlin on that list ?
  5. my nan has a smartphone and answers facetime calls. ask her to log in and check her emails or what her email address is and you might aswell be asking mowbray what a winger is
  6. I would add those average players have kept brereton deservedly out of the team for nearly three years. He really isn’t all that. Mowbray has a part to play in brereton progression or lack of but in time I’m convinced he will show he isn’t anything but an average championship player and I never thought I’d even say that 12 months ago
  7. Salif diao at Liverpool was another
  8. Why insert a sell on clause for brereton when we paid such a large fee for what seems potential. Arma was a low fee so makes sense they had a sell on clause but to pay too whack on potential and then have a sell on aswell is ridiculous. Someone at rovers has had the pants well and truly pulled down
  9. I think the walk on prices are far to high. Is there going to be a Waggott tax on that aswell so they know how many pies they need or are the tickets ridiculously over priced to cover that
  10. The whole thing is like a mad cheese dream 😂 and I love it go On Ben lad 😂
  11. I think it’s completely reasonable to be expected to pay more than most when if you look at the possession stats we have more of the ball 😅
  12. If Ben left on a free, with the exception of the monumental cock up for the transfer fee, would anyone really be that arsed on ability. If he left tomorrow I wouldn’t be fussed.
  13. What I’ve seen of fletcher from live games at united youth level and a handful of games on tv he was another over hyped quick forward that lacks any natural finishing ability and has piggy backed off the prospect tag since . Poor over rated striker
  14. I doubt he will ever hit the heights of bagging two in a game . My condolences
  15. If we can’t afford him now we never will. That must be some rip in his jeans
  16. Pickford james. Stones. Coady. Shaw Bellingham. Rice foden. Mount. Grealish Kane maguire when fit. That’s are best 11
  17. I’ve not seen this footage but will definitely be watching it tomorrow when the wife’s at work. Cheers 😂👍
  18. Not comparing talent or natural ability but the way he brings a game to life and the feeling when he gets the ball reminds me of how i felt watching Gazza play. He has to start for me
  19. I think there’s more than one way to skin a cat. You can money ball and data surf or whateverand it can work for you. You can get one guy to come in and galvanise a group and ride the wave of momentum. You can get a tactical genius etc etc you just need something to work with and others to believe in it. We have the relax and top your pension fund up way. Doesn’t matter how good the coaches are or the computer data is or the academy jack left. If the guys running it don’t care and the manager has openly said he doesn’t then we’re flogging a dead horse. As a side note we should stop calling them the owners . We own our football club. Shit guardians or custodians would be more apt. They will never own us
  20. Yeah can’t disagree with any of that. I think more from hope than expectation he will develop in to a quality player but he is good enough for our squad an highly doubt we could replace him with better .
  21. Agreed. He still has enough IMO to be kept in the squad and my personal belief is a good manager would turn that 1-10 into a far more consistent performer and more complete footballer. The ability is their . I’m not saying he would be the next Tom cairney but he has a lot more to offer than he currently does . Whether it be runs in the team , man management or coaching
  22. A lot of comments remind me of what people said about Tom cairney. A lot of the managers mismanagement reminds me of how cairney was shunted around and never developed when it was clear to see the talent he had .Another gem I was sad to see leave . If rothwell leaves and for example went to Barnsley . He could be the next player been touted for the prem. Another reason I consistently say I have no idea who plays where, what our best 11 is and what ability the players actually have. Until we get proper management and coaches in place it will forever be. I hope rothwell stays. He is well worth a place In the squad on the ability he has shown already. He might be average, he could be the next cairney. Sadly we will never know until he does leave
  23. Does anyone know the date of the next England game should we qualify from the group so I can book it off before the vultures beat me to it 😁
  24. Not as an out and out striker, through the middle with his back to goal as an alternative option to kane if he gets injured, tactical change or to save his legs he isnt. similar situation with all rbs. we already have foden, sanche, Sterling etc . Watkins offers something different. I don’t think sako offers anything different to what we already have in abundance.
