  1. I think that's fair comment, up to a point. And had we been talking about a 2 or 3 year Mowbray tenure it would have been a very fair comment, but the last two years have been utterly wasted. However, we have a lot to be positive about as long as folk realise that we won't be winning 3-0 or 4-0 every week.
  2. I'm sure a few years ago in the same squad we had Olsson, Olsson, Henley, Hanley, Hanley, Dunn and Dann.
  3. You're not really supposed to use Harlem again (granted, it doesn't leave you with an awful lot to go with)
  4. An unchanged team and we will concede our first goal of the season....but we will put three past West Brom. 3-1 to the Rovers.
  5. Really hope she gets it back mate. I’ve shared it on my social media.
  6. You played 4 a side on a goat? Who said you'd never win anything with kids eh?
  7. There was never any doubt about Shearer's quality but I still maintain we could and should have kept hold of Speedie. Imagine him and Newell rekindling their partnership after Shearer's injury in that 1992/93 season. We would have won the league and Fergie would have been sacked. A real sliding doors moment that one.
  8. Shearer also got a full-ground standing ovation when he scored for Newcastle about 20 years ago to make it 2-1 in a game that finished (I think) 5-2 to Rovers as it was his 300th career goal.
  9. Marie Osmond - Paper Roses
  10. The standing ovation he got from all 4 sides of Ewood when WHU played us in the 95/96 season was amazing, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that before or since.
  11. I agree that we could do with 2 or 3 quality additions but to suggest we may as well give up because we can't compete seems beyond realistic and a little bit defeatist tbh. I hope none of the staff or players thinks that anyway.
  12. Bit early to be throwing the towel in don't you think?
  13. John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band - Give Peace a Chance
  14. RIP Lamont Dozier, one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century, who has died at the age of 81. The Holland/Dozier/Holland team at Motown was responsible for countless classics, and was right up there with Goffin/King, Lieber and Stoller, Bacharach and David etc
  15. The Beatles - Your Mother Should Know
  16. We will find a way 🤍💙
  17. RIP Olivia Newton John - every teenage lad’s crush when I was growing up 🥲 https://www.bbc.co.uk/
  18. Wings - Listen To What the Man Said
  19. I think we need Sir Alex Ferguson to sort out these bad hair jokes 😄
