  1. Howlin Wolf - The Red Rooster
  2. The Clash - Gates of the West. Joe Strummer's anniversary today, RIP Joe
  3. Think it's more like 43 years ago mate 😉
  4. Elvis Presley - Way Down
  5. I was right in line with that goal at the Anfield Road end and I agree, it was an unbelievably sweet strike on the turn, right in the postage stamp. Of all the thunderbolts in that top ten, my favourite of that crop was the Bellamy goal at Portsmouth. Very few players could have scored that goal.
  6. John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band - Give Peace a Chance
  7. I truly believe that all this dumbing down of ambition coming from Mowbray's mouth is an insult to the legacy of Jack Walker. Whatever happened to "Think Big"? You would never have heard Uncle Jack saying "Think Mediocre" would you?
  8. The Rifles - Peace and Quiet Written by a lad who had just turned 21. He's 62 now and sadly the lyrics are still relevant to this day, possibly more so than when he wrote it.
  9. Ram Jam - Black Betty
  10. Gang of Four - At Home He's a Tourist
  11. Can we have some more of these Dickens gags please?
  12. The Boomtown Rats - Banana Republic
  13. Harry Chapin - Cat's In the Cradle
  14. The Smokin Mojo Filters - Come Together
  15. Neil Finn - Hole In the Ice
  16. The big Yorkshire guy is Jon 'The Beast' Parkin, who had a better professional football career than Chris Brown and Ben Marshall put together. The third fella is a writer, coincidentally also called Chris Brown! As I posted on another thread, Marshall just comes across as a thick cocky gobshyte from Salford who didn't realise how bloody lucky he was.
  17. I must admit I hadn't realised he was playing in the West Lancs League (and not even the top division of it either!)
  18. He comes across as a cocky gobshyte to me. A good footballer but not a professional one in a million years.
  19. Paul Weller - A Bullet For Everyone
  20. Ha ha this reminds me of two classic jokes: Wife - "Sometimes I think you love Blackburn Rovers more than you love me!" Husband - "I love fooking Burnley more than I love you darling!" and My wife left me stating that I thought more about football than I did about her. Sixteen seasons we'd been together as well......
  21. Edwin Starr - Twenty Five Miles
  22. Yes it is indeed Duncan who scores.
  23. The Boomtown Rats - Like Clockwork
  24. Kaminski Nyambe Ayala Wharton Downing Travis Holtby Rothwell Elliott Dack Armstrong
