  1. Ram Jam - Black Betty
  2. They always try it - it’s a tradition on the 16th in practice rounds. First time I’ve seen one holed though!
  3. Freda Payne - Band of Gold
  4. The Futureheads - Hounds of Love
  5. And that includes two 0-0 draws and almost a third.....
  6. Jerry Lee Lewis - Great Balls of Fire (Now that's proper old school :))
  7. Michael Head & The Strands - Something Like You From one of my favourite albums from the former Pale Fountains and Shack frontman.
  8. Zoe - Sunshine On a Rainy Day
  9. Patrick MacNee and Honor Blackman - Kinky Boots
  10. Paul Weller - On Sunset
  11. The Jam - Man In the Corner Shop
  12. The Sex Pistols - Pretty Vacant
  13. The Turtles - Happy Together
  14. Ha ha nice one. I was at Burnden Park in the 80s when they dicked Wolves 3-0, which is possibly the biggest result in Chorley’s history. Great win today though well done to the Magpies.
  15. The Spaniels - Goodnight Sweetheart
  16. I remember Shaun at Burscough and Chorley but not Marine Tony. Think he might come from that neck of the woods though?
  17. The only thing I remember about Marine is that when I went there in the mid 70s with Darwen, the guy who was their manager at that time was there for decades and didn’t retire until about 2005. I think it was some sort of longevity record but can’t be arsed to check.
  18. Gwen Guthrie - Ain’t Nothin’ Goin’ On But the Rent
  19. The Isley Brothers - Harvest For the World
  20. Plenty of games left yet for all that to even itself out.
  21. The Shadows - Let Me Be The One
  22. Robbie Fowler wasn’t bad either
  23. When the nobbers equalised at Rotherham with 10 minutes to go I felt sure they would push on and win as they have done a couple of times already this season. Delighted to see it go the other way. Let’s string a winning run together now Rovers (please!)
  24. I’ll give you another one who wasn’t the best when he had time to think about it - Simon Garner. Brilliant instinctive finisher but he was no Ian Rush.
