The problem with Gueye up front is he’s not a great finisher. He can hold up for others, but those others are Hedges, Dolan and Weiman who aren’t exactly goal scorers either.

Travis really is poor in possession. He seems to start each new campaign well then quickly fades into total shite. Gives the ball away far too often

Our general lack of pace is glaring.

Ohashi needs to go back to the role of super sub. gueye’s physical presence and hold up is needed against the likes of Coventry. Our starting three in the middle were man handled in the first half. Could get a loose ball, could make a pass, couldn’t win the ball.

Getting muscled off the ball time and time again. Can’t seem to settle the ball and end up in 50:50s that look like 30:70s

Someone (couldn’t see who) went down very softly asking for a foul that gave the opportunity.

The depth of the squad vs 8 months ago is night and day. When Eustace came on board outside Szmodics our best attacking players were JRC and Brittain. Today they’re not in the starting XI. The goal scoring “threat”of Gally and Telalovic replaced by Ohashi and Gueye. Add Weizmann and TC and it’s clear GB was either inept or hampered by the owners or both.
