  1. It’s hard to imagine and I’d argue we will be a worse side in the summer than the one he took over. We will have 12 senior players under contract: Kamenski, Pickering, Ayala (for 6 matches), Wharton, JRC, Travis, Buckley, Dolan, Markanday, Hedges, Dack (a shell of the former), and Gallagher. That’s about as bare bones as it gets.
  2. Not having a replacement for BBD in case of injury or poor form a huge mistake. We’ve been searching for a plan since January. Rothwell has been no where near as effective since his transfer was denied. Buckley’s form has disappeared. The first half seems a mirage
  3. And a significantly worse side. Gally will be out only recognized forward. Van Hecke, Lenihan, Khadra, Diaz, Naymbe, Giles Rothwell all gone. TM will leave us just where he found us. Heading to league 1.
  4. Gallagher should never step foot on the pitch again. If I were a player and saw his name on the team sheet, I think I’d put in a transfer request. Terminate the contract now.
  5. We would have missed the penalty anyway
  6. Wonder if TM still compares Gallagher to Salah?
  7. Great shot. Poor clearance but we should have been clear and up one. Don’t deserve too 6 with misses like that.
  8. How is it possible we don’t have a better forward at the club than Gally? You telling me Vale isn’t better?
  9. How can you not walk off the pitch after a miss like that? Quit, retire admit this ain’t your thing.
  10. A toddler could have easily finished that.
  11. Gallagher?!?! Unbelievable. Not a footballer
  12. Absolutely hammered that half. Lucky to be even. The back line looks shaken…who would have thought playing with no outside backs would be problematic
  13. I’d guess more of an attacking line up with Travis sitting deeper
  14. Have to see if Gallagher is played wide again. That nonsensical quote from TM after last match about Salah playing wide and scoring goals as if that’s sone sort of comparison is Gallagher was mind boggling
  15. We do have a favorable finish to the season, but have to keep scoring to make anything of it.
  16. Yeah but they’re thumping the Nobbers so i can live with that. They can drop points another day.
  17. Great 2nd half. Really helps having Fack fit. Needed these points. 3 more on the weekend
  18. If Gallagher starts we will struggle to score again. I don’t care that Khadra, Dolan, Buckley aren’t 6’4”, Gallagher is and doesn’t do anything with it. I’d rather have players that have at least one skill on the pitch. TM will never start Dack, so I’d expect an unchanged lineup from last week and the same result.
  19. Rothwell by his play since January is nearly worthless as is.
  20. What’s a shame about Mowbary is he’s generally over performed expectations this season. Not many would have pegged us for top 6 to start the campaign, but this achievement will be overshadowed by the fact we’re in the process of letting a golden opportunity slip by. A victim of his own early success it appears. I’m certainly not his biggest supporter, and think his selections are maddening but if you would have told me last August we’d be sitting top 6 today, March 16, I’d have said we should be handing him a new deal. Reality is I feel as though we’ve underperformed
  21. It will be seen as the most costly window in club history.
  22. A big problem we face is the January transfer window. When it opened we were fighting for automatic promotion. Move to today and we’re at risk of dropping out of the top 6. Yesterday when anything short of 3 points was a failure, our big January moves were: Giles- unused sub Hedges - didn’t make the bench Markanday - injured Zeefuik- injured when we needed to strengthen the side we went out and got 4 players. None of whom saw the pitch in a must win.
  23. My thoughts exactly. Van Hecke should take them
  24. the fact that we’re relying and creating chances for center halves is as much the problem as their inability to finish.
