  1. I think 1 as poveda is still on our books
  2. We likely haven’t but probably should have already been sourcing replacements. There was always a good chance this was the outcome.
  3. Hes young. Needs to go out on loan and play professional football for a few years more.
  4. It was a chance and although we weren’t getting in behind, we had most of the momentum. Buckley off was the wrong decision. JRC or Butterworth. The problem with lumping it to Ayala is he’s not going to do it alone. Needs to mock it down to someone and those two were JRC and Butterworth.
  5. Before Ayala came on for Buckley we were fully in control of the game. Since that sub we’ve been under pressure. Totally absurd tactical decision.
  6. Would have preferred to see KRC come off for Ayala. Lacking any pace to get in behind at the moment
  7. And when we were just starting to get a footing…if this works it’ll look genius.
  8. Ayala to come on as a Center Forward?
  9. Except closer together because the pitch is so small
  10. Who’d have guess we’d be pushing for promotion and playing with a front two of butterworth and JRC.
  11. Zeefuik hasn’t gotten but two kicks. Not his fault really we can’t get ahold of the ball
  12. So difficult to play in tight spaces like this
  13. Todays smaller pitch should help him
  14. The left is the unchanged side.
  15. I’d like to see us play SG through the middle. Kaminski Lenihan Van Hecke Wharton Naymbe. Edun Travis. Zeefuik. Buckley. Khadra Gally put Buckley in Rothwells spot move Gally central and let Zeefuik loose on the right wing. Could also see Ayala getting a chance as his areal ability on a small pitch could be helpful.
  16. Then is shown the door Monday morning
  17. If he leaves or stays, he’s out of contract in 4 months time. We should be looking for a replacement anyhow. We need depth if he were to get hurt anyway.
  18. Sure but the question is, are the deals good enough for the players to sign. The answer is “no”. Whether it be due to wage caps, poor offers, level of play, etc. doesn’t matter, the fact remains if the package met the players desires then they’d be signed.
  19. Right if the offers are good enough to meet the player (and their agents) demands they’d sign them. The deals aren’t good enough presently. That could change if the player and the agent later find no better offers exist. However, at the moment the offers on the table are not good enough for pen to paper. Today no one can argue the offers are not good enough to sign the players. Offer being both money, club, level of play, manager, etc.
  20. If the deals aren’t signed because they players believe they can get more, isn’t that the definition of the deals not being good enough?
  21. Then wouldn’t the Armstrong sale be in this years accounts?
  22. That’s one strategy, sign all footballers from every side in the league
  23. I’m not sure Rothwell walks into the weekly team sheet at Bournemouth. So he certainly would want to consider the career prospects of showcasing his talent with us vs fighting for playing time for another club. This entire thing is nonsense. They want him more to destabilize us than for him to help them. Rothwell going no where. We know it, they know it, Rothwell knows it. That’s why all 3 bids have been low offers. It’s just an attempt to cause dissent and distraction. It’s as clever (and transparent) as it gets from kings park.
