Anybody surprised other than our DoF and our new Manager.

I think it is fantastic we go with our own youth first, very commendable BUT, both our DoF and Manager are new and for the most part new to this league so what IF it goes tits up after a short time, the window is closed then. In a way it is OK, great.even, that JDT and Greg are looking to go that way at least it gives them time to get at least a feel of the level of Championship Footy and the level of our opponents BEFORE they go splashing cash. My biggest fear is that we do sell Diaz, late in the window as usual no one is brought in due to the late date and the Brereton money is banked. So we get to the January window both GB and JDT are happy with targets they have identified are comfortable that they can do more than just hack it. So Mr Broughton (sp?) is that his name? Damn senility. anyway our DoF picks up the phone his the BUY PLAYER speed dial button on the phone........,...NOTHING. Just the FAX mysteriously stops working. GB speaks to JDT, ring ring.......no answer. It continues like this and by January both Greg and Jon are outta here. They've just been Lamberted or Lambertboozled what ever you want to call it. All of course speculation but it has been done before right?

Not just play the lad out of position but make it known to the world that ToMo thinks that is his best position. The man was a nut. Giles first game was on the left and he was pinging in crosses but no one was there. I would like to have had a good look at that lad without Mowbary here. Could have neen a valuable plan B, when the pretty football is not working bring on Giles and a good, or even, half decent centre forward, hell maybe even a big factory team bruiser that can head a ball and there would be goals scored so good us Giles' crossing from the left. All of course carried with the disclaimer....IMHO.

They really do don't they, I know most of us wish for their demise but I honestly think they will be a force in this league. Yes yes they have lost some prem quality players but I think they still have plenty of quality and if properly managed they will be there or thereabouts in the promotion shake up.

With GB here what is Waggot's shelf life now? GB has seen first hand Waggots incompetent shit show at finding a DoF and a manager. Losing both our top 2 candidates (plus how many we didn't hear of). GB was found by headhunters, Venkies seemingly didn't trust him to do that, and then after weeks if nothing from Swag he comes in and gets an exciting manager in days. Wags has to be on borrowed time.

I believe Glen 100%. His phone silence? he told us ahead if time he was going offline for his hols. Good for him. I believe we had him and was the Venkies to lose which they duly did. Anyway perhaps it has been a blessing in disguise cos I like the vibes coming from these two. Don't like the body language of some of our players around him (Mowbary loyalists) but I am sure it will be shape up or ship out. I am 100% convinced anyone not fully onboard will be un ceremoniously jettisoned. I think some of our lads are in for a rude awakening, lemon drizzle period is over

Funny though, listening to the DoF it's sounds like there are already targets. If so then that is very encouraging but also worrying since they have not even seen the lads on the training field yet so not sure how they can be on top of what we need.

I will be absolutely gobsmacked if Glens claims of June 6.come to fruition, or even if the same name is in the hot seat.at.all. Unferstand I am not questioning Glen just have no faith in Venkies to get it done. They are just incompetent and so so blinkered, why oh why they can not get it in their thick skulls that some succesful investment can lead to riches financially and profile wise for their chicken business.
