I’m the same, not a fan at all! My wife works with young children and they absolutely love the Hundred. So much that she’s asked to watch it so she can stay up-to-date. I think they’re more the target audience than current cricket fans. I guess the Hundred/T20’s are peoples gateways into cricket. Once they’ve had a taste of it, they possibly will start watching Test matches. I wish more Test cricket was shown on free-to-air TV. I was captivated by the 2005 series and getting to watch the whole series was a joy. Imagine if this years series was shown on BBC or Channel 4? It would have been amazing and increase the participation at grassroots level.
