  1. Oh I'm well in favour of some big strong lads coming in, there's a place for them in this division especially.
  2. Ok, but to say a good big un beats a good small one is wrong. They aren't particularly big though are they? Mercers argument would mean that the best player would be 6'7" etc
  3. Rovers advertising for 3 x ticketing assistants....Could Tesco be reducing the price realising no fecker is coming ?? £20 tickets are coming folks hang in there.....don't be an happy clapper at 32
  4. Balaji would want garlic bread with that
  5. Xavi, Iniesta, Pele, Messi, Raul, Owen, etc...
  6. Not true. All the best technical players in the world are small. You are right in terms of kids football.
  7. Looks a nice player from what I saw of him. Small, quick and similar to AA. Probably a bit more technically gifted than AA.
  8. It's a start Joe, trouble is if you can't get your local scouting on point you've no chance in far flung parts of Europe. That's my opinion. Start here properly and then look abroad. Hopefully JP and PG can change that fir the better.
  9. Would everyone using this not enter pretty much the same information, thus everyone gets to look at the same players? I think a simple working partnership with the Lancashire Schools FA would ensure that the best players in the county end up at Brockhall for a trial. Roll that across the North West and you have a proper scouting system based on local talent. Easy things like that should be a priority. I get your point Joe but there are amazing players right under our noses in Blackburn and surrounding areas. Jesus, the town doesn't even have a town team anymore, one of the most historic in the country, B&D Schoolboys was an institution, maybe Rovers should revitalise that in the town and encourage schools with facilities and funds. All these flags would just confuse mogadon.
  10. Trouble is being managed by Mogadon, his team never over achieves. We never upset a higher league team, we don't beat the top of the table....its always been average and as expected with him......he can't motivate that Is clear as day.....and he's now started losing to lower league teams in cups so what's the point anymore
  11. Ah, chaddy trying to control the narrative again. He shits on our manager even if Burnley get relegated this year. He can come here anytime he likes. Lets see how he does this year, get a grip chaddy.🤷‍♂️
  12. I refer you to my above U-Turn
  13. Just watched this again. If he had a left foot he could have played a more simple ball for Brereton, I admit for using his right foot he's found a nice area to land the ball, you make your own luck I suppose. Not bad on reflection
  14. It was a simple ball played too far ahead of BB. Had the keeper not blundered it would have been simply cleared. So, in reality it was a poor ball
  15. I hear Connor Wickham to the nobbers is possible
  16. He only had one job then and that was to be aware of the danger of his man coming into the box. He was ball watching which is a lower league trait. Not urgent enough with his defending. Good at crossing but we need good defenders as you saw with their goal yesterday
  17. He had a purple patch for 18 games last season behind closed doors and scored 14 goals....apart from.that nothing really to get excited about. I'd like to see some sustained goals before signing someone like that....if he can score 20 at League 1 level this season then perhaps....
  18. Maxi Priest - Close to You
  19. Tried hard though did the lad, eh @Gav?
  20. Can't see old Gaz and Billy lasting much longer ... Nev likes to sack em.
  21. That's not a proper name surely.
