Well I agree but I don't want to be too negative just before the game....

It was predicted by a few on here weeks ago. Carthorse was always going to limp off here and there, Williams is no good even fit, Lenihan a touch better but a liability and the only bit where Mowbray isn't at fault is young Wharton.(our best defensive player for the next 10 years with a bit of luck.) If he doesn't have a couple lined up to come in next week he wants firing.

I wonder if proof has to be shown, or would it be open to gerrymandering?

Don't remember that far back, he scouted me playing for Blue Star Juniors around 87/88 and was my coach at 14,15 and 16. Top bloke.

His lad used to post on here not too long ago. I often wonder how he's getting on.

Not a manager as such, but Jim Furnell was a great coach and managed the youth teams mid 80s/early 90s. A lovely bloke and was always visible with his silver hair and big goalie height...he was responsible for a fair few careers in the game.

Sure.sign that a player is losing his pace or his stamina. Personally, I don't think he has the engine for 90 minutes in midfield. Mowbrays conundrum is to make sure Armstrong doesn't stop scoring bec6Dack is back. I'd be happy for him to go in Jan for 20m if there was a guarantee of it being spent on the defence and central midfield.

Think this is to make sure we get a fee in the summer.
