Two of leagues worst full backs today with poor centre halves v one of the leagues strongest teams . .
-
Errr...keef
-
Lets see what happens. I'll back a Williams cock up to gift them a goal. Seen it too many times
-
Williams again. Mowbray out
-
We need a poll. Who's the shittest Bell or Dell...? Can we have one Mr.website man?
-
I agree but he would be useful in a 352
-
Let's separate the two. Williams just puts us in the shit everytime he goes near the ball. He's cack and fair play to him for getting as far as he has in his career with obvious limited capabilities. Bell has something but it's not as an out and out defender. He is Tony's buy and I think he would do well in a 352. However, Tony hasn't brought in the 3 at the back who can play the role, so in essence he is not playing to bells strength. His goal the other night shows where he should be coming from .....can you imagine Del Boy doing that? I cant and there wide midfielder knows this too.....Hull was a good example of what Bell is capable of. As footballers, Bells technically better, and quicker, can go past a man and has a good shot on him.
-
Yes but he's marginally better than Williams. We can't keep playing one this week, the other next etc....William's should be out of the picture completely and we should give Bell am extended run.
-
He was fast v league 1 defenders. He's finding he cant just kick and run past these lads
-
We lost
-
Why use Grayson.? Not good enough. Are we trying to get in the higher division?
-
How? I think Bristol realised with old lead legs Conway, Brereton and his mates they could pass out from the back. We looked slow and laboured. If you are pressing from the front like liverpool, city , etc you need pace. We have no pace. Dont say Armstrong because he has league 1 pace.
-
Not sure about that. I'd be of the opposite opinion.
-
If anyone is interested Brereton runs at 1.40 at Fakenham. Wonder if the horse is like old Ben...and the jockey is Rakim Harper Dropped off after a mile, poor run.

Blackburn Rovers Women

But they got battered in the cup....looks like playing in a mickey mouse league doesn't help. -
Brereton looks like he needs to fill out a bit and get some conditioning and muscle into him. Sadly, looking at the physical state of our team, Tony's backroom staff need a overhaul. We are dead on 80 minutes generally. I expect Brereton to have a summer where he bulks up and starts next season as an asset
-
Ok...let's see but Smallwood is no barometer,,,,,,we need quality
-
Give over. Average at best in preseason
-
In the same sentence? You rayas dad or something.? I just dont see a good goalie. Too small, flaps at crosses like tonight, decision making when distributing is woeful on the whole. He gets out muscled a lot and hesitates when deciding to come for crosses. Looks like the blind leading the blind there with the goalie coach who looks about 5 foot....was he a good goalie our coach...? And he should have saved their 2nd goal
-
So, if he was 30 you would be all for him being replaced? But as hes young that's ok.....stupid logic. He is just not improving his weaknesses. New goalie imminently
-
Tony will sort that continental carry on out....
-
Season ticket holders do get benefits of away tickets first, fa cup tickets first and probably a few other ones I dont know about. You are arguing at cross purposes chaddy... loyalty is good, but the new fans are just as important and the ones who decide to go on Saturday morning if the lads bedroom is tidy and hes been good at school. You really argue for the sake of it...
-
How can you say that?

Rovers V Bristol City
Sparks Rover replied to Bigdoggsteel's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Raya - Needs replacing too jittery and brings trouble Mulgrew- ok Rodwell - ok but better CH needed Del- Shit Bennett- nice guy, Jack of all trades master of none. Ok in L1 now he's not Arma - ok in patches but once out against da Silva a quick full back he's useless Travis - looks leggy need a rest Reed - Tony doesn't know where to play him Smallwood - L1 Dack - lazy, disinterested Graham - predictable and static No wonder we lost -
Rovers V Bristol City

Yes we need a change in goal. In my experience the goalkeepers influence is key to a calm and assured defence and Raya found himself in the right place at the right time. Not good enough for a promotion push.
