  1. Are you open and honest?
  2. Can we please stop the massive multi-quotes? I would rather read 10 individual replies to posts rather than one long post including 20 quotes. Can we not limit quotes to say 2 or 3 max?
  3. Feels like a friggen Chaddy Q&A on here
  4. Am I allowed to say meh?
  5. Chaddy - Why do you feel you have to react to every single post on here like you are TM himself? it gets very tiresome you coming on here and belittling everyone in one MASSIVE multi-quote post. Please stop. Your answers are all very Nixon-esque too, its like you do not even have your own opinion. You just churn out Nixon and other posters on here. Nothing original.
  6. Seems for whatever reason, as much as TM likes Chapman, that he does not seem convinced on bringing him back. Even when here he was on the bench for most games. Perhaps the combination of the potential for injury and his own ideas as to formations and starters will mean we will not be seeing him back. As for Armstrong though, I would be trying to get him back here. Yes he struggled in the Champs with Bolton but he always does well under TM and this would be why AA would be desperate to come back as he knows his best chance of proving himself in that division would be with us and TM. As another poster said, it only takes one good season in the division to see his value skyrocket. Seems to really rate Travis which is good news - hope he eithers gets more minutes than last year or is sent on loan in L1 of something.
  7. Few posts a few pages back that are completely missing the point over Duffy: "Sunderland fans pissing themselves on Twitter at the prospect of making profit on him. Seems they don't rate him much... Mind you, Blackburn fans were going on about how shite Duffy was." "Blackburn fans were having a whip round to pay for Duffys transport to sign for us. That didn’t turn out bad. Some players just don’t fit into certain clubs." We wanted rid because of the way he forced the move, not because he wasnt a good player.
  8. I am astonished that we sold him for 500k and now Sunderland are selling him for 1.5 million despite two terrible seasons - being relegated from the Championship twice in a row? They have made more out of him than we did.
  9. Those comments all remind me of us lot when we managed to sell the guy to them for 500k. Means we got Dack for a net 250k.
  10. Seems in my beer haze i forgot to quote - lol
  11. Bold prediction. How do you see that panning out?
  12. haha - except only African nations can win it.
  13. Africa - the great footballing continent that has produced how many major tournament winners?
  14. We dont slaughter anyone.
  15. Guess you like all the Kardashians too?
  16. Ali the man in adverts alongside Messi like he is some big thing...major disappointment at international level yet again. Sterling another - pundits hyping him up as our Hazard that will cause mayhem in their penalty area with his runs. I didnt see anything different from his performances in the Euros. Its going to follow a similar story unless we buck our ideas up. Belgium will trounce us and im not even confident we will breeze past Panama like they did. You watch Belgium destroy Tunisia and us draw with Panama.
  17. Seriously, that attention whore? My god, ifs its based on looks alone - which I would hope in your case, even then there is far, far better out there.
  18. young shouldnt have been in team and sterling somehow looks a pub player at interntational level. Kane anonymous but fair play he puts away his chances - shame some of the rest cant. Side note - Walker in a back three makes me feel the same as Williams (they look a little similar too)
  19. so rugby tackles at corners are fine but flailing arms from harmless crosses are not?
  20. Yup, Graham nice, Conway a bit meh but Lenihan in terms of value has to be tied down.
  21. Agreed, we said all last season we would love a big bruiser back there. Lenihan and Mulgrew have had injury concerns thought the latter got fortunate last season. Downing and another will be needed as back up. If 500k is the fee being mooted and he is prepared to pay that for a backup CB, it might suggest we have mney for the more important areas too.
  22. Messi has missed four of his last seven penalties for club and country. I find that a pretty astonishing stat and it will probably start affecting his mentality and confidence taking them down the line. If I was Argentina I would be letting someone else take them for a while.
  23. The world cup will be a reason why this transfer window is moving slowly. Other clubs are not doing much business which then does not make any other players in the teams surplus to requirements. Its a domino affect with the PL clubs in particular looking for gems from the tournament etc - plus players are playing for their countries. I would imagine its only out of contract players in the main that are being snapped up. One thing is for sure is that it will be a very frantic end to the window this year.
  24. Pace alone does not make you a winger, he needs to have a semblance of an end-product and will also have defensive duties.
  25. huh? I said this will be debated in the same way as them - how am I crying over a hand incident? You do go off on tangents.
