Some poeple dont miss a chance to defend gun laws in the US despite kids getting killed....

The media loves throwing this 'administration' word around - it wont happen to Villa just as it didnt happen to us.
-
Is there a yawn emoji?
-
Started out as outstanding but it did not take long before teams knew he could be wound up and then targetted him - even the Shres fans bemoaned his performances the last 3rd of the season.

Players who never quite made it

Remember seeing him on MOTD a few times and boy did he look like a player. I know he suffered a lot of injuries but did not know the depression side - perhaps linked with those injuries? Good to see that he is doing well now outside of football. -
Really is a no-brainer for us but not sure if TM is interested.

How dare you say you're glad that i'm not manager!!! I am so insulted!

Absolutely overdue.

Michael Johnson - Man City -
I actually agree with Chaddy for once. As the lone striker, goals is not everything and I do think the Gallacher has some promising attributes. He wouldn't be the worst shout as I think he could develop into a very good championship player in the future.

The perfect answer to our lack of left wingers... -
Decent odds for an outside bet.

Exactly, him and Pallister. I always remember him being a top top defender so not get a single cap is truly baffling. I know we had Adams around at that time but still... -

Steve Bruce never getting a cap really surprises me -
He is world class dont you know.

This is an important position and one that we do not need to see weakened this season at least. We need to consolidate in the Championship as a minimum and Graham is more than just goals. He is an experienced head, obviously has a great relationship with the likes of Dack and Mulgrew is very good at holding up the ball in the formation we play and is a very good poacher. Really hope they can work something out.

This guy was a PL starter a few years back and is certainly more than capable of doing it in the Championship as we well know. Like others have said, he would be difficult to replace - especially on the cheap. He is only 32, its not like he is approaching the Teddy Sheringham/Ibrahimovic age group. We will have to replace him eventually but I would rather we sign someone as backup or to rotate with him so that they can bed in and prove themselves rather than being left to find someone expected to fit right in. Good and experienced strikers dont come cheap. I can understand that he wants the best deal he can get as it is likely to be the last one he ever gets but feel it should be incentive based before it kicking in an optional second year.

Would offer one year and the option to extend a further year - keeps him on his game for a year.

Those three for 70 mil - no chance - it will be half that.

This thread is giving me a headache now - think ill try to avoid it. Just sometimes when there are no more bold topics to choose - i just click it.

Is this debate still going on?

When he took over he claimed that Villa would be as big as Real Madrid and winning the Champions League within 5 years. Remind you of anything? Sounds like the guy does not have as much money as he made out and took a huge gamble on promotion. if they think they will be getting top dollar for their players like 30 mil for Grealish, they are in for a big surprise their too, clubs know their situation and that they have to sell.
-
incorrect, you started this thread...in the wrong thread.

Even that article did not mention the right back as being someone who could fetch a million - no wonder their fans are happy as they would have been thinking Marriot, Maddison and Edwards.
-
Peterborough play hardball and always overprice their players. Would Edwards really be worth more than what we paid for Dack last season? Probably not but that is the sort of figure they will want. For me, the following are million+ players for us: Dack Mulgrew Lenihan Raya Graham Bennett Tip: Dont use Transfermkt as they have seriously undervalued some of our players - Dack has the same market value as Evans apparently.
