  1. I'm lead to believe that we will be away in the first leg, be it as a 1st or 2nd place finisher in Group E
  2. After the Hereford v Port Vale match on Sunday, approx 3.15pm.
  3. Adult Season Ticket Holders £10 Non Adult S/T Holders £15 Concessions £5 Use it or lose it folks!
  4. I'd like to thank Bob for the fact that I'll be singing happy monday's for the rest of the night. Fair play to Rog erm, I mean Jim Royle for the loan of the phone as our Bob would struggle otherwise. Next time tho Mr B, use a spellchecker! See you in Milan, or Jack Walker Way, whichever is easier for you. I'll have to tell you about my conversation with the Dutch police when enquiring about the whereabouts of a suitable taxi rank. It puts your "thosch guysch are crayschee" to shame, yaaa for scchuuure.
  5. If these rogue tickets got into the hands of dodgy Feyenoord fans, then how come all the trouble came from the same fenced in by plastic/glass area? it appeared to me from watching it this evening, that the Feyenoord fans were put in a similar confined space as Rovers fans were at De Kuip seven days earlier. Did Rovers fans smash their way out of it? No. Did Rovers fans throw seats on the pitch? No. You can't surely blame Nancy for that. Group E update
  6. No but MCMC1875 was there chasing them off with a spade! (thought of you MCMC1875 as I nearly drove over one of the blighters down Jack Walker Way this lunchtime!)
  7. Scott did you wake up when that was happening? I could see you lead down!
  8. Pen should have been retaken, he's so far off his line it is untrue!
  9. All that we were given, about 2500. Chilly in Rotterdam right now, just had a wander about the place. Off to the stadium in half an hour. I was told this morning that Feyenoord had sold 22000 tickets.
  10. We expect both teams to change their kits like the Basel game, but at the end of the day it is down to the ref and UEFA. Both sets of kits are being taken by Rovers.
  11. The walkways are covered. "Protected by a two metre high fence with rolling barbed wire across the top"
  12. I've updated the fans advice with further information: http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...~930757,00.html
  13. Thank you for posting that advice SCF08, but can Rovers fans please take note of what has been put officially by Blackburn Rovers! I'm not saying disreguard Feyenoord fan's comments on this, but this is the advice we have been given by Feyenoord.
  14. DRM - Digital Rights Management. Unfortunately there has been the need to implement it as some people decided to upload World videos to YouTube and the likes. Therefore DRM should make this a little harder for people to do (I won't say stop as it is Microsoft's DRM!) I only mentioned the time part because we've found that videos don't play if people have their clock set incorrectly (like back three months so they don't have to pay for expired software), if the clock on your PC is right as far as you are concerned then fine. As for your IE7 issues, have you actually reported them to PremiumTV?
  15. Advise for Rovers fans entering the stadium: The only way to enter the away section of the stadium is to go in VIA the Station at the Ground. This is where the turnstiles are. From there you go through a covered walkway that then drops you down into the segregated area. Even those travelling on the coaches will be dropped off at the station at the ground and gain entry that way. Any fans taking a taxi to the ground will also have to enter via the Railway Station Supporters who travel to the stadium by tram should take the No.23 or the No.29. The No.29 tram is a special 'football tram;. Once off the tram they should make their way to the Railway Station for their entry to the stadium as detailed above. Fans entering Rotterdam by boat/ferry will be given an information leaflet as they disembark the ferry. This tells them the "do's" and "don'ts", places to go for safety whilst in Rotterdam and how to get to and into the Stadium.
  16. If it worked in IE6 and now doesn't work properly in IE7 then surely thats your answer? DRM was introduced last month and this has affected Firefox users (that'll be sorted in Jan apparently) and some Mac users have asked for a refund (Feb is the reported time for it to be working on that platform), but we've had no reported problems at all with Internet Explorer. Not tried IE7 myself, I've heard nothing but bad things about it, but then again I also ditched Firefox 2 off my PC as it was truly awful. I use two browsers, IE6 for all things Blackburn Rovers related, Firefox 1.508 for everything else. One other thing about DRM, if your clock is set wrong, it won't work!
  17. And if you use a Mac, then MacTheRipper is for you
  18. Rovers ask for increased allocation after selling out But if you are going, here is our Rough guide to Feyenoord
  19. and as of yesterday that was about 2000 applicants.
  20. Do the maths Simon, 500k a place, we finish four places above Villa or Man City or Everton then that is £2m. Their gate receipts outweigh anything that we can ever earn. Man Utd earn more in three games on gate receipts than we do in a single season. And you wonder why we always say we are 'punching above our weight?' Dismiss attendances at your peril.
  21. We get similar TV money as everyone else (before games are chosen), where the difference counts is in the numbers who come in through the door. If we had Man City or Aston Villa's gate income we'd be laughing.
  22. At the end of the day, when Rovers fans are wondering why we aren't buying player A,B or C, it may well prove to be the difference that additional income that a few thousand on the gate can have. More fans turn up = more money to spend in transfer market.
  23. I've no recollection of this, it certainly isn't the case thesedays.
