  1. “You seriously think I’m as bad as Steve Kean?”
  2. The perfect cherry on top would be if we got Paul Cock sacked. They could be level points with the drop zone after tomorrow’s games and they were shite. Anyone else see him bickering with Powell too?
  3. Good performance all round, especially second half. Very happy.
  4. Magloire used to playing in a back 3 I believe? Hope he’s ok in the air, if so - I think this could work.
  5. Well everyone knows the results aren't good. Just absolutely dumbfounded that I'd have to make a case for Mowbray vs. Kean even on the criteria Mercer mentioned. Beggars belief!
  6. Look at the stats - saying the results aren't better (apart from the past month or so) is just untrue. Saying the performances aren't better than some of the turgid 0 shot dross under Kean is fucking myopic. And the development of the club??? He set us back a decade with his bullshit criminality. This is one of the most offensively stupid opinions I've ever heard and that's saying something. Can't believe I'm rising to it.
  7. Good football, decent results and developing the club. And he's as bad as Kean in those regards. You also don't care about a conniving criminal snake selling us down the river for personal gain - because Mowbray picks Richie Smallwood or something? No point us really continuing this discussion because I couldn't disagree more and I'm sure you are just saying this to push some people's buttons. Ridiculous.
  8. Kean. Mowbray is as bad as Kean now. Give me strength.
  9. Shame. If you read his posts as satire it’s pretty hilarious.
  10. Paging @CP Company Lad - just a good fella that had had some ale isn’t it?
  11. https://streamable.com/kq6rk Wow it’s worse than I thought. Stewards should have left him to the mercy of the players the little peaky blinder nob.
  12. Surprising for me I thought Evans joined in really well getting the ball back in their half, certainly in the first 45. Also we’d be talking about a beautiful Smallwood defence splitting assist if the referee wasn’t bent. I do prefer Travis with A.N. Other, but I think we can all see he has looked massively out of sorts since Brentford.
  13. Three occasions yesterday we got into clear goalscoring opportunities (one went in!) through a high press. Harshly the referee pulled us back each time. That’s where I think we’ve been most effective this season - defending from the front. Problem is you get past that and our defence has an aneurysm. I think the tactic is right for the Championship. But we need better players.
  14. Ridiculous sacking. How often do relegated clubs just bounce straight back up at a canter? They’d have had a good chance in the playoff lottery but now I hope they cock it up royally and become the new Villa
  15. Ah... the “I’m shit with money so I should buy a Ferrari” argument ?
  16. Fair enough, coincidence then. And Smallwood really wasn’t the worst of them from where I was stood. The entire back four needed shooting for me. Dishonourable mention for DG for his disgraceful effort/attitude for Rotherham’s opening goal.
  17. Suppose we’ll have to wait and see won’t we?
  18. Dropped Bell and Rodwell (two of the main offenders at Rotherham) and got Travis out of the firing line (been poor lately)... what more did you want, or expect and who did you want in their place?
  19. Me too! And we WILL beat Wednesday, I’ve been a good boy all year so the gods owe it to me to make my work life bearable.
  20. Hard to fathom for me that people can’t see how we’ve moved forward since then. Minds are made up now though so there’s no point trying to fight that tide.
  21. Look, I’m speaking for myself here. Yes, I love a good “discussion” ? But when people want a manager gone it becomes a point of no return and 100% impossible to challenge that view. Tbh it gets fucking tedious reading about it in every keyboard smashing frothing post if you don’t agree If I change my mind I’ll probably be back more often to vent, but I’m not there (yet?) If people are like me they like to share in the fun times and positivity with others on a message board as a leisure activity. No shame in that, it’s not burying heads in the sand. But it 100% will not be casual “fun” on here now (no matter the results or what happens) until Mowbray is binned off and we have to start the cycle again.
  22. I’m not arguing about his mistakes - whether trumped up or real. I’m saying I don’t want him to be sacked.
  23. We’re in the worst form, yes. I’ll see where we finish the season before passing judgement on it as a whole.
