  1. That Nial Ennis lad a stoke looks like he could be a good goal poacher at this level given a real chance
  2. A clean sheet would be as good as a win for me today.
  3. He was definitely at tbe game, he could be seen on video walking to his seat with Eustace
  4. Well I'm sure it's not his entire role! Just one of his duties and I'm sure that's pretty normal these days
  5. Ahh sorryπŸ™ˆ Well that's the problem I've been having in recent weeks when accessing the forum on my phone, I usually have to refresh the page a few times before it normalises!
  6. Is this whats been constantly causing annoying issues like this...
  7. Sshhh! Dont say things like that or he'll be a goner
  8. I've got images of when Brian Kidd made a scene and did similar when he first joined... Does seem a little disrespectful to Johnson tbh. But if we win all will be forgiven quicklyπŸ˜…
  9. jdt who? πŸ™ˆ A few simple tweaks and hey presto
  10. Hope im just being paranoid and cynical but that's also around the time our form really plummeted Really hope he hasn't had one eye on the Sweden job since then.....
  11. When did the Sweden job become available?
  12. Aa much as I liked JDT as a man, his stubbornness to rethink his tactics and strategies to suit our players better was going to put him out of a job sooner or later anyway. I think he'll just go on to be a respectable journey man around Europes leagues
  13. Don't suppose we got a future tranfer fee % in the sale just on the off chance he comes good and moves somwhere else for a few mill in the future πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  14. I'll admit it was a weird one!(I'm guessing dodgy agents played a big dubious role in this particular situation) But hopefully it wasn't too big of a loss!(if any) ability wise i really wouldn't be suprised to see him score a few at this level playing in a system that suits him better, that's if he can stay fit long enough πŸ˜„
  15. Just seems a lot of people are almost happy that Broughton could be a goner. His transfer record over all has been at least as good(if not better) than anybody that has come before him during the venky period imo! And his hiring of jdt turned out to be a real breath of fresh air(for the first 12 months at least) Wahlstadt was thrown in at the deep end, I'd say ideally he needed to spend at least this whole season as an understudy to a more experienced senior keeper (sadly he's only got flippin Pears in that role) Ennis signed on a free and reportedly sold for around half a mill just 6 months later. So a relatively risk free signing initially that didn't work out(for whatever reason) but they've still quickly profited from it Telavovic.. The jurys still out for me, i like his attitude and he has ability but whether he's cut out for this level only time will tell... But again a relatively cheap low risk signing that I'm sure would be easy to offload if needs be. Tronstadt alone tips the balance for me, great little find, quality player and potential future captain material in my book Obviously the jury is very very much out on this januarys bargain bucket recruits but again they're all relatively low risk signings that could potentially turn out to be excellent additions(if not then no big loss)
  16. Tbf that was fairly accurate aside from the comment saying that being a championship club is probably our natural place (because you could say that about half the teams currently in the prem!)
  17. JDT: Can I at least have a new Β£20 training hoodie with my initials on? Venkys: right you're sacked!! We're not made of money!
  18. Just watched a couple of interviews of Eustace... Seems more in the Appleton, mould than Mark Hughes!! Very drab persona as well
  19. So no Bradley Orr then? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜…
  20. Yep that's all I was getting at too πŸ‘ On paper he has a lot of potential, some club will take a punt on him at some point I'm sure
  21. Benni McCarthy as an outside bet?? Well regarded as a coach
  22. Mark Hughes dragged our training and tactics into the 21st century at the time, but now he seems to be the one stuck in the past sadly I also think he needs his taffy army of Bowen etc.. alongside him to be his best, apears that since they all went their own ways and Hughes has had to go alone is when he began to really struggle
  23. Benni McπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Though tbh I think all this talk of head coach replacements is just going to distract all the attention away from the real problems at the club
