  1. big part of me would love Hughes back, but I think unless he has Bowen and the key members of his original coaching team with him you only get half the package, Also get the feeling that his contacts and player knowledge within the game are very out of date
  2. Yeh 😂 fair doos. And I'm sure I'm guilty of it myself at times. Just some people take it to absurd levels with their stubbornness hahaha
  3. A few people on here very much like to pick and choose their facts to suit their opinions and completely ignore any kind of context surrounding them
  4. I won't bother going on... Because i do know how you like to sulk and tell the teachers. 😄 But ok 👍😊 What's wrong with Darren Moore though? (if you are looking in the up and coming uk managers market)
  5. Sorry, but you paint yourself into a corner with your support of Mowbray (as you're entitled to) but then when you do single out a replacement manager you really fancy it's one of the most dubious looking candidates 🙈
  6. Little shout for Darren Moore as a candidate, obviously not my first choice, but if your considering someone like Ainsworth then surely he's worth alook also. He also knows the club a bit from starting his coaching career here, has a pretty solid cv and decent pedigree for a relatively young manager P. S. Carvalal looks terrible! One of those manager s where you just have to wonder how he keeps finding work at a good level! (my guess would be he has a very convincing agent). ALSO Coco would be very poor.
  7. I wouldn't take that as final confirmation! There's going to be a big knot in my stomach until it's officially confirmed by the club.
  8. 😲😲😲😲😲 You'd genuinely accept him back for another year!! 🤯
  9. I think the the odds are in favour of Mowbray agreeing a new contract(maybe for 1 year) once he starts bending the owners ear, sad but true. He definitely doesn't sound like a person thats about to completely sever ties with the club anyway 😞
  10. Lame comparison! Also! Surely the extra digits would make the surgeon far more Dexterous in surgery! All though don't be suprised if you go in just to have your tonsils out and leave with a new mangina.
  11. Woodgate would be terrible in every respect! and quite a pathetic appointment, i hope he's not being seriously considered, but he probably is the kind of garbage Waggot will be putting forward I imagine. #waggotout
  12. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/charlton-athletic-add-54-year-old-former-premier-league-boss-to-managerial-shortlist/ Perversely I do want to see him get another managers job in England, just to see what happens! Just feel gutted for the fans of which club he goes to, although if it was a Southern or Yorkshire club I wouldn't care less
  13. Flippin eck! Not knowing much about him other than what's been said in here... I've Just been watching a few clips and interviews of Gareth Ainsworth And my first thought was... Really 😬😬! I mean I'll take peoples words for it on here if they say he's actually better than he appears. But really😬 He just doesn't look or come across as a championship and above level character or manager and hearing him talk about tactics etc.. He sounds very amature, almost semi-pro! as for his "look" bloody hell, looks like a retired porn actor from the early 00s Hope I'm wrong on all acounts though if he does get the job.
  14. I'd take Robert Wagner now. I'm sure he managed a few disaster films in tge 70s.
  15. Flippin eck zoom in on the photo in that article they nearly all look miserable af, poor buggers it was a bit cold and wet that morning
  16. Seems bizare that his scummy ness didn't catch up to him until the ens of his career!
  17. Was a very versatile player to have in your team on champ manager at the time 🙂🙃
  18. Oh eck! Got through the final eps of Osark last night, was initially a bit disappointed but in hindsight i think it ended the only way it could have... And stayed true to itself! In general though the final run of episodes was very depressing and tense to sit through and this final season has been a bit of a let down compared to earlier seasons. One major gripe for me has been how many new characters where introduced and went on to play major roles in the final season... It just felt a bit late in the game for me to have to get used to new characters when you know the show is ending (if that makes sense🤷‍♂️) Just my personal view, hope that's not spoilt anything, it's still definitely a "must watch"
  19. Yes I'm suprised Nuno Espiririto and also Bielsa's names haven't been mentioned yet There's currently a handful of good options available, but managers of the calibre 9f these kinds don't come cheap and they expect concrete assurances of having transfer money to spend etc..
