  1. LET columns in general attract nothing but weirdos no matter what the story is about I recently got banned for simply daring critise/question LET darlings The Issa brothers πŸ˜„ and how they apparently have the council in their back pocket and get away with building all manner of grotesque buildings wherever they please even if they dont even remotely match the approved planning permissions (but thats for a different threadπŸ˜…)
  2. I don't even see the 'nice enough bloke' aspect, just an arrogant miserable bs merchant to me.
  3. That is funny πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ But tbf I actually have a lot of sympathy for Gallagher, he's just another player that's been badly managed and used over the last few years by Tony! but he had a lot of potential when we signed him, also his price tag was higher than it should have been, but again that's not his fault, just another shoddy deal.
  4. How can the owners/employers of any multi million pound business just ignore stats like these 🀯 unless championship mediocrity is the aim. Personally I do think that is very much the aim! As the real cretins pulling the strings behind the scenes can get away with a lot more down here in the shadows outside of the Premier league spotlight.
  5. Have any of the managers we've had under Venkys actually left another club to join us πŸ€” I can only really think of Appleton (who had only been at a struggling blackpool for a few months at the time I think!) I cant see any manager that's currently 'happy where they are' or 'has other reasonable options' wanting to come here unless they where πŸ’― gurenteed a decent tranfer kitty and no interface in footbaling matters from above.
  6. If the owners(whoever they actually may be) really give even the slightest shit they should roll the dice now and get a ball busting manager in for the remainder of the season with the offer of a huge bonus if wereach the play offs or higher if we got promoted

  8. yep and im certain if we keep falling away, dont make the play offs and Mowbray goes... then you can bet your bottom dollar that at some point he will be blaming the fans for being pessimistic and never being fully on board ZZZzzzzzzz
  9. Can Mowbray and his amateur hour cronies please all just feck right off. I've only ever personally disliked 2 rovers managers in my lifetime (40 years-ish!) and Steve 'crooked as the come' Kean was the other. Mowbray might be a more adequate manager than Kean(doesn't take much!) but in every other dept there's not really much between them, Mowbrays just a little older and subtler with his bs.
  10. I was talking very specifically about natural finishing ability, not any players all around ability
  11. Sorry but Bellamys goal scoring stats over his career would beg to differ πŸ™‚
  12. Yes they are. So why are you doing it πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Trying to have an unbiased rational conversation on here really is a waste of time and energy. Folk just stubbornly paint themselves into a corner with their precious opinions πŸ˜„
  13. He didn't like it here from what i remember
  14. Cole in his prime, no question! One of the greatest in premier league history (as his stats make obvious) Cole in the 18 months or so he was here, we probably got 2 good monthsout of him. Jansen, great player for us obviously and had many attributes that made him a far superior player all around than Rhodes, but purely as a "finisher" inside the area Rhodes was better, but Rhodes lack of attributes in most other areas meant he was not Premier league standard unlike Jansen
  15. It's so sad from a football fans point of view seeing talent like Rhodes having their career derailed and ability wiped out because as mostly always they chose to chase the bigger money. Probably the most natural goalscorer that we've had since Shearer(and Garner before him) Looks like Adam Armstrongs career is now also going that way 😞
  16. He's just a mid table championship level centre forward, maybe under better management and being played more consistently in his natural role would have improved him a bit, but ibdo agree that he has regressed a lot since he signed for us permanently
  17. It's just mental that he's so faithful to Gallagher yet has continued for years now to consistently play him out of position! If he liked Gallagher hed at least stick him upfront as traditional centre forward (where i personally think he can do an adequate job and get you around 15 goals a season if played there consistently)
  18. Don't understand the game! πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ I think the point is largely that those bizarre and embarrassing decisions of Mowbrays never work!! and it's not until he gives in and plays players in their more natural positions that we start doing well
  19. But are they actually "here" that's the issue that everyone in football still just turns a blind eye too Over the years how the club is really run and by whom has been analysed and explained pretty thoroughly by a few on here that know there stuf, but without hard evidence to prove any wrong doing or a footballing authority that could give a fk(unless it suits there agenda) we'll just keep going around in circles. But in the meantime #mowbrayout #waggot out because I'm waaaay past sick of the 2 of them and their tired bs.
  20. Just started getting into a show called "evil" at the weekend, bit of a guilty pleasure type of show! And you can probably guess what it's about by the name πŸ˜„ Kind of like The X-files! But instead of UFOs & aliens it's demons & spirits and instead of the FBI it's the catholic church! Really good entertaining easy watch though, especially if you like supernatural horror type stuff
  21. Ive actually just downloaded the first season of Yellowstone, its near the top ofmy must watch list now πŸ‘
  22. Most of the managers before Mowbray where either odious cretins(kean) or having to work under absolute chaos in all quarters with no support and little to no money, Mowbrays had pretty much a free ride his entire time here with seemingly little to no pressure on him from above or even any real serious objectives to get us promoted ot of the championship!! In my opinion.
