Has nobody really considered chiles Martín Bernardo Lasarte as a future rovers manager yet🤷‍♂️ he doesn't have the slightly more youthful aspect that I would ideally like to see, but he does have a solid respectable (if not Particularly exciting) career and clearly knows how to pick a team and get the most from players! Obviously wouldn't be my top choice or prob even in my top 5, but still worth a shout maybe.

So upto this season other than those few none of our other players have really been tantalising enough for any club in this league to want to offer good money and wages for nor good enough forca prem club to be seriously interested in. yes totally, but on the other hand as things stand they're paying his full salary even though he's not in the clubs plans at all, so sure there must be a big compromise on their part and it's not like Man united are short of money! so taking the occasional financial hit wouldn't be to big a deal for them. that said... if he does leave before his contracts up I do think it will be most likely to a prem club or possibly a club abroad on loan

Can any player really physically and mentally recover from 2 very serious back to back injuries like that though, I think he's going to be joining the long list of english footballs 'could've beens' Im sure he'll still have the occasional little purple patch here and there but I can't see him starting 35/40+ games a year anymore and he's already fast approaching his late 20s

I think jones would be a very good player for Newcastle to get in on loan for their relegation fight

aside from promotion from league 1 his personal form has never been reflected in the clubs league form in the championship though, but I'm always happy to be proved wrong in the future.
