  1. And who is it again that you want to buy the club that would do any better now?
  2. Unless TM gets us promoted, it's time for him to move on I don't mean that in a callous way, he's done some excellent work at the club, but it's really time for a change! The team needs reinvigorating and fresh new ideas brought to the table As for who next then! Well that's the conundrum isn't it and the reason why so many would just prefer to stick with Mowbrays relatively safe hands. It took the owners the best part of 5 years and half a dozen mostly disastrous attempts before they found a respectable manager in Mowbray
  3. And i probably wont be, nor will the thousands of season tkt holders that have faded away, we need an inspirational charismatic manager to bring some positivity back to match days, Mowbray ran out of ideas about 3 years ago, if it wasn't for Breretons suprise freak goal streak we'd be rooted in the bottom half
  4. never been able to get into any of those harry palmer films for some reason
  5. I doubt that many people actually really care about it though, i think it's more just one of those shows old people flick on out of habit, same with pretty much everything on channel 5! That channel was lame when it first started and it's barely improved since
  6. Come on neighbours should have ended circa 2000 and it was still well past its late 80s-early 90s prime then. Now to get rid of all the god awful soaps! It amazes me people still choose to watch absolute garbage like Eastenders when there are literally hundreds of better things they could choose to watch. Most of those shows peaked in the late 80s - mid 90s when they had good writers and actors involved, but they've just been regurgitating the same story lines ever since and they get weaker and weaker each time and the acting and dialogue is just plain poor.
  7. To continue the scouse theme...Mowbray after this season if we don't make the playoffs.
  8. There's so little between most teams in this league tha it would be pretty much 50/50 whoever we got and sorry to be a misery but I wouldn't be especially excited about facing any of the teams, I'd just want us to win(obviously) and get it out of the way so the fun can really start! Then we can look forward to at least one season out of this dreary fkin league.
  9. Well I hope you filled your boots and made the most of that "progress" because once Lenihan, Nyambe, Rothwell, Brereton, Van Hecke... and whoever else! leave in the summer we wont be left with much of a starting 11 at all.
  10. Really liked Billy Mck8nlay as an anchor man before he got a serious injury, but obviously he wasn't the kind of signing that was going to get us challenging at the top again
  11. Seemed an arrogant tosser that thought he was too good for us (bizarrely)
  12. Yeah yeh and the venkys are evil bloodsuckers we know....😴 Who is it again that you think is going to buy the club and do any better if it was put up for sale?
  13. If they're yesterday men then what is Mowbray 🙄 although i do agree that is a weak list! Pullis and keane wouldn't been in my top hundred candidates Ranieri I just love but it it does seem his managerial magic isn't what it once was, plus we need to be looking for someone for the long term not just for a season or 2
  14. Always liked Bilic even if he has gone of tge boil a bit, very similar to mark hughes
  15. I hope Mark Hughes has got his mojo for management back, very suprised that he's had to drop down to division 2 to get a job, but wish him all the best, a real coup for Bradford, good luck to them. Gutted he's not back here in place of our horrid stale fart of a manager.
  16. You openly wanted him gone after the Fulham game.End of story.
  17. Ive Really been biting my tongue about shitty Mowbray the last month or so and giving him some (deserved) leeway due to the excellent form leading up to the new year and hoping that the last few weeks where just a blip, but naaa , its the first half or so of the season that was a blip, now its back to Tonys clueless ways and sadly also reaping the just deserts of another poor transfer window.
  18. Yes that was the real kicker for me when he joined Newcastle so soon after. If he'd have just gone of and completely retired i could accept that, but no I bet like most things in football it probably came down to money. Maybe he wanted to renegotiate his contract for a big pay raise after winning the league, but Walker well renowned for being stubborn when it came to salaries 🤷‍♂️
