although I admit if we did stay up it would be quite an achievement!!! but I honestly I can't see TM lasting more than a dozen games in the prem, but i'd be happy to eat my words in 12 months time! Trying not to even think about getting promoted just yet, but IF we do then the the first team would need quite a big overhaul and the way the club is run would need to improve enormously otherwise it will just become an embaressing amature circus again. I've got a feeling TM might just call it a day as a manager at the end of this season and what better way is there to bow out than with a promotion

A charity match is 100% the way to go and I cant believe the club haven't already put something in motion! I can Imagine there would be a fantastic turn out of ex players and managers from the pre 2005 era that would be absolutely delighted to 'Turn out for Tony' 😃 and id be surprised if it didn't attract a big turn out in the stands

The clubs always know. The players are basically huge assets belonging to the club so likecany business I'd be suprised if there's anything that goes on with their assets that the club don't know about to some degree

If we keep Rothwell(and he gets his head screwed back on straight ) and sign Giles we should be in very good shape, still a bit pathetic that we've still not found cover for bb & gallagher though upfront though.

Yes but rovers are very much a championship team👍 IF we got promoted we'd need a big first team overhaul to be able to compete in the prem

Funny how scots talk about the championship as though it's below spl standard 😄 when most teams in the spl are probably just division 1 standard at best and even celtic and rangers are just championship standard really

Am I the only one that finds the comments made by the girls father in his press statement pretty fkin disturbing! Any normal father hears of anything even remotely bad like that happening to ther daughter and they'd be seeing red for a long time ! But he seems more annoyed that the content and posts where released, to me it sounds as though he's upset that someone is rocking the apple cart or something, also claiming his daughter is saying her phone was hacked 🙄 reads like he wished it would have all just got brushed under the carpet 😞 Just a life observation.... Sadly In my experience it's damaged girls/women that are attracted to these nasty types and often that damage stems from abuse going on in the home growing up.

Giles and swift look like they'd definitely chip in well with assists and the odd goal, but we're still be at least 1 short of a good centre forward to finish those chances! And as of yet there's not been any concrete links to any strikers in the past few days or more

The sad thing is i doubt it's really a one of, so many young footballers seem to share the same horrid mentality, hopefully if anything good comes out of this it will be that it shows to other young players that this kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable no matter who you are or what you do for a living (not that it should need showing!) You really do have to ask what goes on behind the scenes in football Accedmys that creates an environment where these stupid boys think this is remotely acceptable

If/when Rothwell goes we need a quality centre midfielder that can step right into the team if we want to keep up the promotion push, we don't have 'Tony time' to wait 2 or 3 years until the player maybe starts to come good (before then losing them cos their contract is expiring)
