  1. Shame they can't find some land in blackburn itself, somwhere closer to the fans so they'd be far more part of the blackburn community.
  2. Well if you "literally" don't rate him then who's to disagree
  3. That could read as the owners giving up Rothwell, leninhan and Brereton The only way I can see those players signing new deals with us now is if we get promoted
  4. Can't deny it that's some bloody result and a real statement!! long may it continue... I can just about hear chaddy drooling over the chance of an automatic promotion spot 😄
  5. he must be a genius to have kept himself in a job the last 3 years. The turgid wet wipe.
  6. The Riverside is what it is! If you dont like it or it's lack of some facilities compared to the other stands... then just sit in one of the other stands🤷‍♀️ If the riverside was redone then it would just become a generic stand like the others and would lose the essence of what it is that makes so many people prefer to sit in there and most likely the seat prices would increase too, So I don't get the argument! as long as its completely safe that's all that matters. The only thing I hate about the riverside stand is the obscenely loud poor quality pr/sound system
  7. we signed Peacock on a free and he was still a worst signing than poor Kevin Davies! I thought Billy Mckinly was immense for us under Roy as an anchor man for about 6 months (before getting badly injured i 🤔 ) allwoing Sherwood and Bohinen to play higher up Peacock and Daily 🤮🤮🤮🤮
  8. Set pieces in general have been absolutely pathetic right throughout mowbrays time here
  9. Gallagher's a solid squad player, but he's a centre forward, playing him anywhere else is just a complete waste
  10. We seem to be starting to now 'win ugly' which is usually the sign of a successful team, Mowbray seems to have stumbled onto a formation and way of playing that now suits most of the players, don't like the manager personally but obviously cant argue with the league placing, hopefully it they don't start getting complacent again and this squad is kept together and strengthened a little in some positions in the next window without it affecting the squads harmony they will still be up there at the end of the season. Just hope the owners don't throw a new contract at Mowbray any time soon as I think that would remove the pressure he's under and allow him to revert back to his usual ways, if we reach the play offs I suppose he'd deserve another 12-18months extension but no more.
  11. probably largely to blame for why English football is now completely lacking in any real charecters and just full of dullard athletes that seem to already have one eye on retirement before they even reach their mid 20s, more interested in their future careers working in media and building their social media profiles..... SAD. p.s. Also couldn't it technically be discriminatory to choose to employ people based on whether you personally like them because they fit into a mould of how you think people should be... as apposed to how good they are at the job
  12. absurd isnt it! some fall for it every year now under this dipstick of a manager
  13. It's only the beginning of December!! and our form is pretty average really, it's just the teams around us are doing marginally worst at the moment
  14. is it really not 1971, i had no idea🙄🙄🙄 .shit managers and shit employers.
  15. A real good manager would have strong enough character to just be himself take it or leave and not waste his time worrying about upsetting a players feelings. As long as the managers not a completely irrational lunatic like Roy Kean it shouldn't be a problem.
  16. "Mr. Inbetween" on disney+ (which is pretty ironic really!) You will not be disappointed 👌
  17. anybody remember 'Ultimate soccer manager' on the pc mid 90s!? that was a solid manager game but what made it different was the sim city type aspect that was pretty cool at the time Also if you do a search you can easily find downloads to early versions of champ manager if you're feeling nostalgic
  18. switched off as soon as Dack started talking. he might have been a decent little player but I can't stand that cheecky little cockney geezer act
  19. yes one of those shitty teams.
  20. Ive not seen any mention of a 'sell on clause' being owed to Forest! if/when Brereton is sold. I'm assuming that there will be one though?? even though they already had our pants down for his initial transfee fee
  21. Just finding for me there's waaaay to much information on the screens and the writing is so small its a struggle to read it amongst all the other noise on the screen (either that or i'm dyslexic 😅🤔)
  22. this is just absurd now. he is not and never will be a "rovers legend" To be a true legend its not just about results and league placings! You have to have a huge affinity with and unanimous respect of the entire fanbase and club and a huge passion to see us all succeed together. Mowbray barely cares about the club and fans(aside from those few that constantly blow smoke up his Behind) it's just another job to him.
  23. One thing we can all agree on... Steve Kean is a Blackburn Rovers Icon. (but obviously for all the wrong reasons)
  24. I do feel that for the first time he was under real pressure from above due to the aftermath of the 7nill beating and fair play SO FAR he (and the team!) have responded in the right way and it appears to have galvanised them a bit. how long it lasts we shall see, but as others have mentioned... recent history tells us it won't last long until Mowbray reverts back to type.
