  1. "legend" Crying out loud I've heard it all now.
  2. Yeh well really I still just want a Mowbrayout for Christmas regardless of anything else. 👍 if we're still in the top 6 (or even 8!!) come the end of the season then I'll happily eat my words but until then I still have no faith in him or his cronies to build on our current little run of form, nor do I have faith in anybody atvthe club to make tge right moves in the January transfer window. and if Kaminski is going to be out for a while then he's already got his excuse in the bag.
  3. Some people are just being realistic! If we can get Brereton and Rothwell in particular to commit to new long term contracts! then great I hope they stay here for the best part of their careers, but in reality they're both they're both at an age were they know they need to make a step up (for reasons of finance and ambition) Personally I think Brereton is currently playing slightly beyond his real ability because of his current insane confidence, So if he is to be sold its best cashing in now whilst his value is where it is, instead of waiting another 12 months when his contract is running out and maybe he's lost his form and only worth half what he is now.
  4. Any offer around 20mill upfront for Brereton should be snapped up. Blackburn in my lifetime have always been a club that creates chances(even when were doing very poorly) so any half decent centre forward should be able to score goals here, So in theory replacing them without spending a fortune shouldn't be difficult providing our transfer department get their shit together in the next window!!!! Id much prefer we spent the bigger money on a quality RB and CB (and Cm If Rothwell doesn't sign a new contract this month)
  5. Still no better sight or way of getting the fans on their feet than seeing a real winger running the touchline beating his man and whipping the perfect cross in. But sadly it is a rare sight and true wingers just don't seem to exist now
  6. Go on lets see how many want to change their minds now!? 🤣 My vote hasnt changed.
  7. seems the wake up call follwing the 7 nill defeat and the seemingly real possibility of him being sacked had poor form followed... has really forced Mowbray to get on top of things (for the time being) still don't want him here for much longer though. but well done to the players for a solid win, just need to keep it up and play as well against the better teams in the league
  8. God Mowbray and his cronies must pish their sides reading some of the stuff (which im certain they will do, even if just once in a while) divide and conquer.... it's what kep Kean in his job long enough for the club to fall into chaos (which its still to come back from) and it's still the same tactic used now only in a more subtle way(most of the time)
  9. When else would it even be a news worthy story outside of the clubs(hibs in this case) local rag and fan base that a club has signed a new Accedmy coach! The fact that it got so much publicity is telling enough. I couldn't even tell you 1 Accedmy coach of any Premier league club let alone a cruddy spl team (although all spl teams and Scottish professional football in general is absolute 💩 to me)
  10. hahahaha. well hooray for you!! Me personally... I would have no interest in a blackburn rovers 'playing on a pitch at pleasington' or anywhere else outside of the full time professional leagues. Mowbray Out Waggot Out
  11. Oh definitely I'm sure there'd be a few vultures and wishywashywanky bodged together consortiums queuing up
  12. By "history" I meant that (if we are lucky!)We'd just end up in a position where we would unlikely to ever even be able to compete above league 1 level again in my life time. If you'd be happy with that then great for you. Mowbray out Waggot Out.
  13. Sorry cock but I think you have a pretty romanticised view of our stature 😞 Look how long it took Leeds to claw their way back into the premiere league! and they're a far bigger and better supported City team (even if their fans are pure scum😄)
  14. Mowbray Out Waggot Out Can you name me one person(that would have the clubs best interests at heart) that has the funds available to buy the club and its debt if it was put up for sale? and if this club goes into administration there will be no happy ending! the club would become history. Sadly our best bet of stepping to the next level is by rolling the managerial dice and hoping we eventually find a good en. As for WankyWaggot and the other useless back room cronies they're all part of the same harem as Mowbray so all must go together.
  15. Mowbray out Waggot out Tallented, respected, ambitious board and manager In.
  16. Well I installed fm22 a couple of weeks ago and started a game as Newcastle, but since then just haven't had time to get into it... Going to have a good go this weekend though haha As an experiment im going to set the formation and tactics up to a bog standard old school 442 (with proper wingers, a solid back 4 and a big man-little man front line) probably going to be a disaster ha Newcastle start with a 200mill transfer kitty but there rep doesn't seem big enough to attract the best players about. p.s. stats for the rovers players are all pretty awful tbh, only dack looks capable of playing in the prem(but even then just as a backup player)
  17. Not really sold on Howe to be honest, but good luck to him though and only time will tell. The problem I see is he seems the type of manager that needs a long length of time to really put his stamp on a club to get them all on the same page as him, I just don't see him getting more than a year max to really get them moving forward, especially once he starts spending serious money! they'll want to see results pretty sharpish I expect
  18. It's really just flannel to satisfy for those sheepies that get 50% of their rovers information and news from the LT (and the other 49.5% from the official rovers site and social media accounts)
  19. don't need to read it, Tony changes his tune from one week to the next. win a game and it's 'we have the abilty to be up in the mix' lose a few and it's 'we're just not good enough and don't have the finances to compete with the teams in and around the top 6...' he's just a blow hard never-has-bin dinosaur of a manager. Mowbray out Waggot out
  20. tbh i remembered because for a little while one of them kinda stalked me about the school for a while with her mate haha(now that I'm an old minger I'm not to modest to day I was a bloody good looking kid in my teens 😄😄) she was very nice
  21. oh right! my typos, sorry my bad. 🙄
  22. ?? no idea what you're getting at cocker
  23. yeh, but like you you say... different era completely, people had far far thicker skin back than, Standing terraces made a big difference too because unlike now you could shout something out without sticking out like a sore thumb in your seat, plus crowds where mostly full of half pished proper working class men still and part of going to games was for them to be able to let off some steam after a weeks hard graft! Pretty sure Wilcox for example used the grief he got as a youngster to motivate himself to become one of the very best left wingers in the league at the time, even getting a few england caps in the process, only the likes of Giggs where ahead of him as left wingers at that time but Giggs was world class
